Why doesn't Jessica sell suffolk sheep? :(
I'm in year 2, summer, and she hasn't sold even one.
What's going on?!

Do you have a normal sheep? As far as I know, you need to have one fully grown for her to sell the suffolk.

If I'm not mistakened, you need to own a normal sheep before you can buy a Suffolk sheep. And sometimes it won't pop up in Jessica's inventory right away. I had to wait 2 weeks (in game) before I could buy it

Yes, I have a normal sheep.
I also have a fully grown cow and a fully grown jersey cow.
I have 2 fully grown chickens, a normal and a silkie chicken.
It's been 2 seasons and she still hasn't sold them.
Do I have to wait even longer? :(

I read somewhere that you need to raise a lamb to a sheep before she sells one... Have you done that?

I hope you're not resetting each game day in an attempt to see if there's suffolk sheep for sale. From what I understand from reading certain posts around the boards is that resetting would 'lock' everything in the game that is determined by the RNG and values revert to default.

Let's say for example, you visit Jessica's shop one day and see no suffolk sheep, so you thought you would reset and see if it fares better, only to have the game revert to default values, and it happens that the suffolk sheep is not part of this default setup, so no sheep again. Rinse repeat, no suffolk sheep for ever. It's best to bear it out and play regularly, and hope that whatever you want from the shops goes on sale normally soon

I have to say though, despite noting the above, I did notice that in my game at least, I would run into certain stretches of time where every shop sells the same items for a consecutive number of days, up to 2 games weeks even. Usually in summer for some reason. Don't know if that's a bug, or if was meant to be.

If you're talking about the restaurants I think you're right. I've noticed this too. There will be days on end where Yun and Howard will have the same exact menu, and then suddenly one day it'll change to another menu for a week or so.

You shouldn't have to to do that either. You did mention you are currently in summer. This is just my personal observation, but I think shops' inventory can act a little weird especially in that season, as per my previous post. Perhaps you should play until Fall arrives and see if a suffolk sheep appears then.

And if you have the funds, maybe you could try purchasing another adult sheep and selling it back later, to see if that would work out the kink? Not that this is the solution to the problem, but something I would personally try if I ran into that myself.
