@ Bex - I wouldn't really think charging seed price would keep people away from your farm, to be honest. We'd only be paying what we'd be paying to plant them ourselves, without all the work/taking up space on our farm/having to be in the right season. Plus, like I mentioned before, if you could get more than one person on the field, you'd actually make a decent profit.

It's nice you want to offer the crops for less than the price of the seeds, but if you do, you should still make sure you're at least not losing any money by doing so, especially if you're still in the early stages of the game.

Then how does it work for the people who come there?
Like can everyone collect ALL the turnips?
Or do they disapear when someone else snatches them away before you can get to them.

Sorry for asking so many questions >< I'm still kinda new to this game system.

And Bex... when you ask seeds price you are asking the right price, to be honest. It is like the person harvesting them had planted the crops and is harvesting them now, but without having the work of taking care of them.
If I can advice you, plant flowers the next time.

Everyone has their own "version" of the field, so even though everyone can see everyone else, they're only seeing their own crops. So YES, everyone can harvest EVERYTHING. Even if everyone leaves one particular crop, it'll disappear when you load your game next after the session.

If the crop is multi-harvest (like tomatoes), then when you reload your game next, the crop will be back to the stage before it's pickable again, and you can water it some more and it'll re-grow. Single-harvest crops (like turnips) will disappear entirely.

I forgot that tomatoes are multi-harvest! o: Then, I'll do two or three rounds of tomatoes (since they took so long to grow >_>) before changing crops. :D

Also, if their multi-harvest, I can make the entrance fee low so you all can come visit more than once. XD

ARG, why does the cooking festival keep you from getting to the wifi field AFTER it's over? D;

What would be the entrance fee (based on seed price) for a full field of 45 tomatoes? o -o

If you'd charge seed price for them, it'd be 5400g for 0.5 star tomatoes...But since they're re-growing crops, you could bring it down to like 3000 or something, if you're not worried about making too much profit, and will be having more than one person over at a time.

Danni, theh game sets up the max price you can ask. For regrownable crops it is lower, so even if you ask the full entrance fee, you and the people that harvest from you will get a profit.

EDIT: Okie, I got the field planted. :D I've got 6 each 0.5 star corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, and red roses, and 12 0.5 star onions. I went ahead and stuffed 9 0.5 star tea trees on the other 9 spaces, which I'll just leave there until I can get the seed maker and jack everything up to 5 stars, hahaha.

According to the HM10 page, the total seed price for it all would be 7680g, I believe. Since I'll not be doing multiple harvest of the corn and tomatoes, probably, I'll just charge 7000g as long as I can get more than one person. X3

Media you should not have planted the corn and the tomatoes then! At least us harvest them like... 1 or 2 times, so you can at least get a profit of them!

Ah, I have sooo many corn and tomato seeds that it really doesn't make too big of a difference to me, hehehehe. I was lacking on the other seeds, so I just threw them on there to take up space. I think I have like 40 of each in storage still. xD
