I sent mine in late november or early december...... So they had a lot of time. I just really want to win just a cat plush. But I doubt it.

Hmmm, I didn't send mine in that much earlyier than that, they probably just haven't posted yours yet. There are about 300 entries right?

I've actually thought that they should have seperated digital from physical originally, but I scraped the idea once I saw how little physical drawing there were. If there are a lot of physical drawings that just haven't been shown though, I totally agree with you, Tgainsbrough.

Natsume must have an amazing scanner, because none of those look physical.

I worked with high grade digital scanner in my lab and never had something come out looking digital.

This one was drawn and inked physically but scanned and colored digitally. It's likely one of the other ones is too but it's hard for me to see at this resolution.

Well I just checked Facebook and they said that some of the winners were a 'mix'. What if they did do a physical, but then uploaded it, edited it a bit, and then sent it off? They said that some people with physicals uploaded them to submit them...

I don't find that fair to color it digitally then still get it called physical. I colored mine physically.

EDIT: Just ugh. I know they said it but doesn't matter.

How would they know it was physical if they entered it digitally? I think that still counts as digital.

I don't find that fair eiher. A physical drawing should be that; PHYSICAL! Not 50% hand drawn, 100%!

I'm tottaly worked up and so depressed. (not to be complaining to anyone, etc.) I am gorging on food. ;.;

I don't think I'm made at the fact I didn't win (once again I never win) but that fact that my hero, Natsume, just failed me and is trying to explain why they failed instead of fixing it. It's like i want to take my ridiculously expensive (If I told you your head would 'splode) Natsume/Harvest Moon Collection out the window. I feel betrayed. I guess that would be the word. I 100% knew I was not winning but now I feel spit on too. (just a term no actual spitting involved) I feel like they didn't judge on their terms of "effort" like they promised. Mine was on a $30 piece of paper hand inked with an actually high grade manga quill. So there was effort, I colored it myself. But people who scanned it and then colored it are still digital, mine was all physical (which included the coolest experience in my life using a lightdesk.) so there for mine = physical. But if they entered it into a real art show (like what my fiance does) it would fall under digital. I feel duped.

Yeah, well you aren't the only one. I'm not sour though, now I'm just waiting until next round of winners. I still believe that that #72 (or whatever that beautiful and realistic looking one was) should have one.

The only thing that made me upset was them trying to cover it up instead of accepting it. That upset me that they didn't own up to it.

The only reason why I think #72 didn't win was because the character was not recognized enough (garments and such) to be a specific character or not.

EDIT: So Natsume posted again explaining that the only thing they were meaning by scanners was if your scanner sucks it would diminish your quality. Which didn't at all explain how that was considered physical.
