ToTT Festival/Event Dialogue Transcriptions

This is part 2 of something I've been wanting to do for a long time, inspired by Lunadora's Request Transcriptions thread and requests/comments from other people here on Fogu - transcriptions of all the dialogue in the game.

I expect it to mostly be useful for people trying to decide which bachelor(ette) they plan to marry, and for fan-fiction writers. But I figure, if I ever write an HM fanfiction, it will be for this game (ToTT), and I'd love to have dialogue handy for character reference and other usage in the fic. So here we go!

I have split the dialogue transcriptions into two threads - this part here will contain event dialogue: stuff that's said in contests, festivals, and events (including proposals and heart events) - basically anything that is not regular day-to-day stuff and might contain more than 1 participant. The other part will be in this thread and it will contain dialogue from regular daily conversation with the MC.

So to summarize:

What you will find in this thread:

Contests (including cooking contests at various village-friendship levels)
Festivals (where the festival is an event - not including ones like Flower Day, etc)

Heart/Flower Events (including both good and bad response choices)
Marriage Proposals (including reverse proposal, decline, and accept texts)

You guys are welcome to help - I'll need it or it'll probably never get finished! ^_^ Help will, of course, be credited.

If you'd like to give me some dialogue, please use the exact wording (English US version, please), and include as much extra info as you've got - who was involved, how many flowers they each had, the location (for random events), what the weather or season was (if applicable), where you placed in the contest (if applicable), your MC's marriage status, and whether you're playing as the male or female MC. Especially needed are heart dialogues from playing as the male MC, since I'm playing as the female MC and won't get them any time soon.

Also feel free to add info if it's missing and/or correct typos if you see any!

I'll split the dialogues into four posts:

Right now I'm just setting up - I didn't bring my notes with me today. But I've already got a couple event dialogues lined up. This one will be a lot slower updating than the daily dialogue thread, since events are rarer, but I'll continue to update as I get more info (whether from you guys or my game). So...watch this space! ^_^

Georgia: A wish, huh?
Laney: You're looking thoughtful there, Georgia. What's up?
Georgia: Why, talking of wishes makes me think of the past... (laugh)
Laney: The past?
Georgia: That's right. (thinking) When I first came here to the village, I had a real hard time fitting in, right? Well, at night when I saw a star, I used to wish on it. I used to wish for friends. (smile) Why, then one day you came and talked to me, Laney. And my wish came true.
Laney: (blush) Oh, Georgia... It wasn't that big a deal...
Georgia: (laugh) I realized then that if you wish hard enough, sometimes wishes do come true.
Ash: (laugh) That's a great story... It makes me want to wish for something. Right, Cam?
Cam: Yeah. Maybe I'll make a wish...
Georgia: (laugh) You too, Laney! You should make a wish!
Laney: (laugh) Oh, Georgia... Well, I guess it couldn't hurt.
Georgia: (laugh) Yeah, come on, now. Let's all make a wish wish [typo!] together!
Grady: A wish, hmm? Now what should I wish for?
Jessica: You might need to wish for glasses one of these years.
Grady: Ha ha! You might be right about that! And what are you going to wish for, Jessica?
Jessica: What, me? Let's see... I'm going to wish for our animals to stay healthy.
Grady: Oh, good idea. I'll wish for my horses to stay healthy too. What are you going to wish for, Eileen?
Eileen: Who, me? Hmmm...well... Maybe a husband?
Grady: Haha! That just might work. I'm sure you'll find someone special.
Eileen: Heh heh. You think so? Alright, then! Let's wish!
Rose: Ho ho ho. Sounds like you youngsters have a lot to wish for. Oh, it's starting...
Rose: Have you all decided what you're going to wish for?
Grady: When it comes down to it, it's not so easy to decide. Have you decided, Georgia?
Georgia: Why no, I haven't. Can you think of anything, Dad?
Grady: Now let's see... Maybe I'll wish to find that saddle I lost...
Georgia: How could you lose something so important!? That's merchandise!
Grady: That's why I'll wish to find it.

Ash: What beautiful stars. Huh? Maybe it's just me... But those ones at the bottom left look kind of like a scorpion's tail!
Jessica: They look kind of like a snake to me...
Cam: The stars are so bright! That line of stars on the right looks like a bow.
Rose: Well, now that you say that, it does, doesn't it?
Cam: I could look at these stars forever... That star on the left is so bright.
Rutger: It really is bright! It looks like the mouth of a huge bird.

Rutger: It's about time to call it a night, I'd say. We all have plenty of work to do tomorrow. Time to head home, folks.

Hiro: Now I can read them thanks to my studies at the medical school in the city... But even as a child I would imitate my father by opening his medical books... I couldn't read them, but I would scribble in them! That made Father angry. As a matter of fact, most of the books on this shelf belonged to my father. My father was a doctor in the city. Father became a doctor in order to help my mother, who was sickly from youth. Wasn't that romantic of him?

Hiro: Ever since I was a child, I've respected what my father did... I made it my goal in life to become as fine a doctor as he was. -...- But it appears that I will never be the doctor that he was. I've been making too many errors in my work lately... I'll never amount to anything at this rate...

Haha, I don't blame you. Oracle always seems to be a bit extreme, even in the events that aren't heart events. I've got one that I'll get up eventually that just makes me shake my head fondly. Such a drama queen, that Oracle... Anyway, I've added your event. Thanks!

Don't worry about it; I fully expect that we'll get all the "good option" stuff long before we get all the "bad option" stuff, simply because it's so much extra work to run through the bad option and then reload so you can redo it... I've added your event too, so thanks!

Also I noticed I'd put Reina's version of the MC Birthday Event in the wrong post, so I moved it.
