Favorite Rune Factory?
Tides of Destiny by far followed by Frontier. I definitely loved the characters from both games. Some scenes were a bit funny in Tides but Frontier had more depth within the characters, but can be funny at some point.
I would vote for the DS versions, but i very sadly haven't played a single DS Version game of RF so far, but i really want to. I would have to get it online since the Gamestops i go to never seem to have it D: I could check Game X-Change tho before deciding to purchase them online.

If I had to pick it would be RF3.(So far cause RF4 isn't out yet)
Why?
1. No more picking one crop at a time, you can pick up stacks (I always found it annoying/boring to pick one crop at a time cause it took forever
)
2.The characters. Nuff said.
3.The dungons are fun to explore and the bosses were a lot of fun to fight (not to hard but not too easy)
4.Squid. (It needed to be said)
5.GOLDEN WOOLY OF EPICNESS
6.You live in a tree. The others RFs? A normal house.
7.Cool box art. (In my opinion)
8.The soundtrack. Like any video game it could be annoying at times but that doesn't mean it isn't epic.
9.The art that appeared on the top screen during a date(like the ice flowers)
10.DARIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA(My fav RF chara)
I probably could come up with more but I think 10 is enough.

This is hard, each one of them are good in their on way, except for RFF, I didn't like it.
I would go with ToD, but I haven't gotten far into it, but I love what I have played. But I have to go with RF2. The 2 generations really made the game last that much longer, the characters were all interesting and weren't as bland like in RF1 or quirky as in RF3. Not to mention, the request system was done the best, imo, in RF2. So it gets my vote.

Easily 3 so far. Frontier, and the first Rune Factory's combat was far too clunky for me. Never played 2, and I would of said Tides of Destiny if it wasn't for Sonja. Or really that, I just liked 3 in general better overall. The characters were all fun and interesting, I loved Sofia but I was even doubting if I wanted to marry her because I found Raven really interesting as well, and I think I could honestly have no problem marrying all the girls in the town if it was possible. I liked the combat, just right, and I liked that you could invite villagers into your party, and not to forget the introduction of the request board.
Hmm...I'd have to say both Rune Factory 1 and Rune Factory Tides of Destiny/Oceans are my tied favorites. Both have interesting and refreshing plots, the bachelorette have distinctive personalities and are not over exaggerated or plain *coughlikeRF3andRF2cough*, and the main characters look like guys respectively {Well Raguna is on the borderline...And Azel looks like a little boy...But good enough for now}.
Separately:
RF1;;There are many dungeons to go to and takes a while to beat the game {Unless you're a hardcore gamer perhaps}. The music is pretty good and everything is just nostalgic.
RF-Tod/O;;JUMPING = awesomeness. The graphics are really nice and I never get tired of looking at the same scenery as I did in some of the previous games. Plenty of bachelorettes to pick from plus the main heroine and you can play as a girl if you wanted to. Your armor and such is shown when equipped and you can dual wield.
akdsjflkasjf Rune Factory Frontier is pretty awesome too. Egad, well I guess Rune Factory Tides of Destiny wins my "Most Favorite".
Rune Factory 2< Rune Factory 3< Rune Factory 1<Rune Factory Frontier<Rune Factory Tides of Destiny/Oceans
I'm too lazy to write about Rune Factory Frontier...It's pretty much a mix of what I said for RF1 and RFToD/O.
I left out Rune Factory 4 since it's not out yet so I don't haven't anything to say about it.

I would have voted for rf1 if the controls were better and if you didnt have to hold down the button to run...Anonymous Fish wrote:Bro, am I the only one who voted for Rune Factory 1?! Come on, people...
It took a heck of a lot of time to beat the game( yeah, a few years...), and the best games take forever to complete, not to mention any game with Raguna is amazing( if I had to choose a second choice on the poll I would choose Frontier).
And all of the dungeons, it's beautiful!
AND THAT PLOT. THE PLOT IS WONDERFUL.
Anyway...!
