Ohhh, I tried the demo for Rhythm Thief, it was pretty fun once I got the hang of it. I'm really horrible at keep the beat games though, haha. I love them, but they really don't love me. xDcinnamon_yuki wrote:I'm currently playing Rhythm Thief & Professor Layton and the Curious Village.
Anyway! So many games started, but currently, I'm trying to make through Devil Survivor 2 finally. I'm only on the third day.

I'm not good with rhythm games as well. ^^; I'm trying my best to beat this game but I still love this game even though I'm having a hard time.Einherjar wrote:Ohhh, I tried the demo for Rhythm Thief, it was pretty fun once I got the hang of it. Come to think of it, I haven't finished playing Devil Survivor 2 as well. I'm planning to get Overclocked too but my list of unfinished game are really growing. I don't know which one I'm going to play due to time limitations. If only I could play games all day, everyday!

I know how you feel! XD I can't wait for October to come. Lots of game to play.Emurii wrote:Hakuoki! It's nice to have a low-key, low-investment visual novel to get me through September, considering the onslaught of amazing games coming out in October.
Currently, playing an online otome game called Star Project. Very interesting! Will keep me occupied until I get my hands on Zero Escape, Style Savvy, Professor Layton and ANB.
I always get too impatient and hit the buttons too early, or I wait too long and hit the buttons a little too late. It's a wonder how I beat any of those games. There is one that I can never beat the ending on however, I'M LOOKING AT YOU PARAPPA THE RAPPER! xDcinnamon_yuki wrote:I'm not good with rhythm games as well. ^^; I'm trying my best to beat this game but I still love this game even though I'm having a hard time.![]()

Well, almost done with my first playthrough of Devil Survivor 2. On my sixth day, somehow. I got incredibly lazy with the leveling towards the end, just because it can take forever in some of the free battles. :'D
And speaking of Overclocked, I couldn't have made it past the first couple of days in that...shhh. But I guess it's alright, since I've already played the first one anyway, though I should try to at least have one playthrough on it. xD
/long stare at unfinished games
Not enough time in a day sometimes, lol.

I have the same problem, where I'll start games and love them but fail to actually FINISH the gameEinherjar wrote: Well, almost done with my first playthrough of Devil Survivor 2. Currently I am playing Okamiden because I forgot I had it, remembered, and want to play something that doesn't require a lot of thought (yet) and looks amazing. Okamiden is adorable and amazing~
Pretty much it, I seriously need to stop doing that. xDrachellion wrote:I have the same problem, where I'll start games and love them but fail to actually FINISH the gameWith Devil Survivor, I made it up to the Final Day in the first one and only to the 4th in the second one. Or was it 3rd? Either way Megrez made me rage quit cuz HRNGH FREE BATTLING LEVELING
![]()
Omg, Megrez. That one really got me so bad, I had to keep redoing that battle several times. First, I tried to distribute people evenly, so a couple could deal with the minor enemies, while the other two beat Megrez. Noooope. So then I decided « Snuggly Bunny » THAT, I'LL JUST HAVE EVERYONE GO ATTACK MEGREZ! Didn't work out so well, people ended up trapped and unable to chase after them like that, haha. And I was cursing myself for getting rid of demons that either had flight or phantasm, so...woooo, I couldn't permanently stop the ones that kept being summoned on the ships/boats. Had to level grind a bit more in free battles, went back to it, had one person chase after Megrez initially, with others spread out a bit more(but still a little close to the boat demons and the stupid buds), so it made it easier access. Somehow I beat it, but it shall be forever one of my boss nightmares. ;~;
I think I was close to the final day in the first one, but one of the bosses towards the end was really pissing me off, and I was like I DON'T REALLY NEED TO LEVEL GRIND MORE, DO I? I mean, I went through the whole game, keeping myself a bit overleveled anyway, so I hadn't had a problem up until then, and I knew that it'd take a really long time to get a higher level, since the free battles were incredibly tight on handing out the exp, so...I sort of just quit and never looked back. xD
