Haha, to me Allens arrogance is a HUGE turn on.

So Allen all the way.

When I talked to Allen during gameplay and he addressed himself as "Ore-sama", that was it: I just HAD to court him! Still his favorite dish is a pain to make.... :(

What does it take to make his favorite dish?
I usually never give someone their most favorite gift if it's a hard dish, I never like going through the trouble, only person I've given their most favorite is Mikhail since his was pretty easy for me
Though, just for the sake of what he says, and to see his face, I'll try to make Allen's favorite~

You, my friends are mad for trying to make me choose. HOW in the world am I supposed to choose from two of the hottest guys in the game? But Allen's really confident, according to my friend, and I love guys like that... but Neil has red eyes (kyaa) and he has a soft side for animals... haha, I'll never be able to decide. :?

@Compassion - Well, Harvest Moon is sorta like a Harem (Genre)??? Idk.
The point is, is that there are supposed to be love triangles everywhere, you're supposed to not be able to decide.

My life isn't making sense today. D:
So what I'm saying may not make any sense.

IGNORE ME AND MY NONSENSE-NESS.

Well I don't think the word 'ore-sama' in and of itself is sexy, but the connotation and implications of arrogance are sexy. It... it oozes self confidence and a slight tinge of vanity.

I find that kind of character very hot.

Did you realise you didn't give the meaning of Ore-sama? If the ugly nickname Ore-sama even HAS a meaning....I'm actually pretty dumb because I got lost at annonations. It's okay. I find that character hot too.

"Oresama" is both an overly-self-confident and narcissistic way of saying "me" in Japanese.

I think there's a slight misunderstanding going on here...

Ore-sama is a Japanese pronoun. He only uses it in the Japanese version, and it's a variation of the pronoun 'I'

In Japanese, you can use different 'I' pronouns to mean different things. 'Boku' is typically masculine, 'watashi' is generally neutral, and so forth. So using 'ore-sama' as the 'I' pronoun kinda exudes cockiness, arrogance, vanity, etc.

I was actually wondering why people who have played the Japanese game kept going on about 'ore-sama' without explaining it. I just assumed everyone who was talking about it knew what it meant.

Hope that was helpful!

EDIT: ;( beaten to the punch lol I'm too long winded

There are many ways to say "I" in Japanese:

Atashi: Feminine
Watashi: Gender neutral and polite
Boku: Masculine, but occasionally used by girls
Ore: Very casual, and almost always used by men

My husband uses "ore" with me, but if he were to use it with his boss, that would be disrespectful. "sama" is an honorific you add to the end of someone's name. It's used to show the highest respect to the person you are talking to, such as a customer, or even a diety. To use it to yourself would be beyond arrogant. You would never really use it in Japan, but in a video game it's used to exaggerated the character.

Edit: Apparently two people have already posted explanations. I took a long time typing this, ha, so I just wanted to post it as well. Maybe it will add a little something extra to the definition.
