You didn't offend me. I just meant that, I myself, find it hard to discuss gameplay until I have played the game.

I do agree there are way too many of those topics, but when a game isn't out yet, I feel like people sometimes don't know what else to talk about.

I think everyone plays harvest moon for a different reason.
Some play it for the marriage part, some play it for the farming part, some play it for another different part and some play it for a combination of things ^^
Me, I play harvest moon because I like the farming, how rewarding it is to see your field filled with crops, but also because of how cute the animals are and how nice the villagers are. I have to admit that I'm a little bit of a hopeless romantic, so marriage plays a big part for me as well, but that's not the only reason why I play harvest moon games.
Though, it is indeed a little difficult to talk about gameplay when you haven't played it yet ^_^"

How do you feel about the new animal designs for ANB? I don't think I've seen many of the animals aside from the horse and a type of cow. Or maybe just the horse? I dunno, either way, the horse looks kinda dumb in my opinion "^^
I prefer my animals to be relatively proportionate/realistic looking, which this horse is clearly not.

Sometimes I have a feeling that 80% of fans play only for marriage

Ehem... Well, I play for the farming part and I also like to make friends with villagers. I like when I can hear more about their life, past, problems and hobbies. I like to watch how they live and what kind of relationships they have with their relatives. Farming part is cool, because I can grow a lot of interesting and juicy-looking crops. The same is with raising animals. When I was a child, my family had a farm. That why I feel happy when I can raise my own pixely cows and sheeps in the game I also can't forget about mining part and about finding some interesting stuff around (flowers, mushrooms). Harvest Moon is a very nice and rich game. That why I feel sad when people talk only about bachelor/ettes.

The horse looks a bit hmm... I mean, why his legs are so short? I still find him cute, but his legs... :] The rest of animals look pretty good. Cow's eyes kinda creep me out X_x But I love the chickens - they look like fluffy pillows

I am definitely glad that there are a wider range of animals to raise in this game, though. We get cows, yaks, alpacas, sheep, and chickens

I wish they had goats, ostriches, ducks, and SILKWORMS. I miss those silkworms. I hope next game they include all of those. It would be nice to have a bigger variety of animals.

And at frist, I thought the new cows were a bit scary, but I think I could get used to them ^^

Do you guys know if there's a limit to the amount of different animals you can have? Like in AP you could only have 3 different animals?

That ususally affects my affinity for animals. Like in AP, I ended up not caring about Ostriches because I had no room, etc.

I hope they don't do that. I didn't know there were yaks! That's really cool!!
And the removal of goats and silkworms sounds like a mistake ;( How could they?! I always have a goat an' I always name her Scarlet! Now who will be my Scarlet?!

I'm glad I'm not the only person who thinks the horse isn't a little derpy :p
He's cute in his way I guess, but he looks like he belongs in a Magical Melody-esque game, not this one!

To ride. Zebras are actually faster than horses from what I've heard.

LOL, oh. I almost always forget about horses and whatnot. It's probably because I barely ever use mine in any game. It would be pretty cool, though. I think you can ride a panda bear or a polar bear in this one. I forget which.

Ah, so that was what I was thinking of.

It is kind of hard to think of new animals they would actually be useful on the farm. I noticed they never brought pigs back since SI, but they mostly did what wild animals did for you.
