I'm a bit tentative getting a 3DS and this game purely because I just know I won't have any time to play it once school rolls around in August. @_@ So I'm still thinking about whether I should get it or not. It's a very hard decision, mind you.
Mm, hopefully we'll get much more info when E3 comes.
I'm pretty curious.

If you have your own money, then why do you ask if you can buy 3ds? You can buy what you want because they are your money.mrpotatohead wrote:I was soo excited about this one, and when i asked if I could use my own money to buy a 3DS, dad was all like "No. It's bad for your eyes." So, yeah, I don't even get to play it. Hopefully I'll have fun listening to you guys talk about it and play this one.

Yep, I agree. Potato, don't give up with your dreams. Buy it. If your parents ask you, tell them you won't play all day and you can turn the 3D option off. So your eyes won't be tired. Also tell them that you also care about your eyes a lot, so you will be careful with using your console. They need to see how responsible you are. Then they will leave you alone.Emily Elizabeth wrote:Mr.Potatohead buy it any way. its your own money, do what you want with it!!

They won't hardly let me buy anything with my own money. Chances are, they'd take it from me and not give it back or something. idk, their weird. And as far as responsibility goes, they know how responsible I am I have had glasses since I was 3 and have never lost a pair. I'd say that's pretty responsible.
Do you make money by your own (job)? Or they just give them to you as pocket money?mrpotatohead wrote:They won't hardly let me buy anything with my own money. Well, a 3DS is expensive (granted, it's down to $170 + tax). I have two part-time jobs, and buying a 3DS and getting the game will run me over $200 total. That's over two weeks' worth of work right there.
There is also the argument of 'you're not doing anything productive with that money'.
I'm not helping, am I? Just trying to see from your parents' point of view.

What's their problem with you getting one, cause if it is only that it will bother your eyes, well if you don't use the 3d or you keep it on low, it doesn't actually bother much more that playing a dslite, but that is just me. Your parents probably dont realize that it's not as expensive as it was, though really it still costs a lot, or maybe they getting it for you for your birthday, or perhaps they don't realize that games for the 3ds don't work in a regular ds... Other than that, I am really sorry for you and your situation and I wish you the best of luck that it changes so you can buy the game!
