No, that's just a placeholder date.

Natsume will announce it themselves when they have a date.

GrB was nice, relaxing game, for me now I guess it's more interesting that ToTT [now, that is what I can call "flop" - I've quit playing it after I hit mid-summer, 1st year] but kinda less than DS Cute, and from 2nd year onward, when you have all mills, maybe some upgrades, animals it really speed-ups.

Also, there's Angelo and Amir, and that's alone maks it win :P

It didn't feel like an HM game at ALL.

But I found I really liked the plot of both IoH and SI. ANB seems to have theism it to the next level, so I'm excited :)
Grand Bazaar was for the ones, who wanted to relax. Totally relax. Relax without thinking about hard farming or other stuff. Just have fun and be half-asleep.
Well seeing how big I made my farm...I couldn't really relax cause I had so many animals to take care of. xD

I grow nothing but trees tho...<-Trees require no water and are therefore worry free.

The soundtrack was also really relaxing and calm.
Ya, especially the house music theme. It was very calming and warm.
I liked to take care of my animals because I loved the new system of feeding. Brushing them also was fun. In GrB we had no bigger areas to go, so I was spending a lot of time on my farm. The field didn't need any cleaning as well, so I had a lot of time to play and care about my animals. The game was relaxing because I didn't have to hurry with anything. That why I think that GrB was opposite to IoH/SI.

I guess personally, I just like having a goal to work towards. I guess it was because ANWL was my first game...? You didn't have to do much, but I really liked it anyways. Even so, it was very sophisticated for it's time (in my opinion) so I guess that's how I got sucked in.

Asfar as I can remember, the games ways had goals. MM had you save the goddess, ToT had you save the godess tree, AP had you ring the bells, ToTT had you bring together a fighting village, SI had you raise allthe islands, IoH had you expand the island more (even if it was relaxed), save the homeland had you, well, save the homeland :shifty:

Those are just a few from the top of my head.

Anyways, GB just didn't feel like there was any sort of goal. While it was fun to have the billboard and explore around, I found the area too small, and my ranching skills were set aside for business. I couldn't do that. After years of growing and shipping right away, I found it difficult of just store everything for the end of the week. It did t help that their freshness went down, and the storage was too small. I'm used to always doing something while playing HM, not just bumming around >.>

I think the only goal was "grow the bazaar" but other than that there wasn't really any story.

My first game was AWL, so I also tend to expect a lot of sophistication as well xD;

I liked the goal we had in HM64, M/FoMT, BTN, SNES: make your farm the best :]

I'm really excited, (currently praying it'll be released in Europe) I got sick of IoH and can't find my precious HMDS6 so another Harvest Moon game will get me back in the zone. All these new features and the 3D will put it to the top of the Christmas/Birthday list.

Apart from the place holder date can we throw out estimations as to when we'll actually get it?
I'm thinking early 2013, which isn't that far away if you think about it.

Since Natsume said they'd be releasing it this year, I'm hoping they can keep that promise xD
Idk about a specific date though, I'd be fine with Nov-Dec
But Oct-Nov would be nice too…

As soon as possible would be amazing, but I don't mind if it takes them ages to pump out an amazing game, know what I mean? If it does come to Europe it'll be ages after everyone else, so it would be better if it was released earlier every where else.

Why won't you buy the american version of 3DS and get the U.S. ANB? Waiting for the european releases sometimes takes a lot of time.

Well, we already have a 3DS and I wouldn't be able to buy another one for just the one game, that's a bit of a waste! I'd have to buy it out of my own money and I couldn't afford it. I suppose I could wait, I'd just lurk around here watching everyone have fun, but until then I'm going to fan the bit out with everyone else.

And I would really appreciate if developers wouldn't consider Europe as "third-release world" and instead of focusing only on America first, released games for both markets simultaneously as I don't really want to wait around a year to play a game and I don't want to be forced to buy american consoles and games - DS market where I live is really small, Nintendo is not even really bothering to open up a normal Nintendo DS site/club whatever, and every bough console/game is really important for us to be noticed by the concern.

I completely agree, why should we have to wait longer all the time. The games you find on the store shelves in europe are pretty awful, just a bunch of party and dance games.

It's not soooo bad, we're just a bit behind. Waiting sucks that's all. It'd be nice if Europe's release status was up at the same position as America on the importance list but there are other countries who either don't get it at all or get it WAY WAAAAAAY after even Europe.
