Heart color question!

For some reason, some peoples hearts will not go up despite all the gifts I give and wearing large friendship pendants! For example, Pierre and Natalie's hearts will not change, and they are in love already! Will their hearts not change if they are engaged? Because I want 10 hearts with eveyone, but it does not seem to work? Am I still getting friendship points atleast?!? Please help!

Even if they get married their hearts in the character section can still be raised. The marriage candidate won't have a Heart Color for you anymore though.

As long as they are accepting your gifts and they like the gifts you are still getting FP. Sooner or later their hearts should go up. Oh and make sure you don't litter.

Also are you giving more than one gift per day? Because gifts only earn FP once per day.

Are you also speaking to them once per day? I had a similar problem with some villagers when I gave them a gift each day but never greeted them first.

You would be surprised how quickly the heart rates rise without giving a single gift by greeting them every day and then speaking to them a second time for their second dialog. A gift after that gives even more points

Have you seen both rival heart events yet? After that they get engaged and get married a week later. Until the engagement you still have time if you want Pierre.

I talk to them everyday with three max friendship pendants and give a good gift everyday, and Natalie stays at 2 hearts! I literally have 10 hearts with everyone else. Maybe she is hard to please... Same thing with Elliot, he is engaged to Julia but his number of hearts remain the same! I dont know why their hearts dont go up because using the same method, i got vaughn up to 10 hearts by giving him only 5 porrige! I just want to get 10 hearts with everyone is all. thanks for your replies

This may sound strange but have you raised Mystic Island? The first time I played I decided if I didn't, no one would get engaged and I would get the husband I wanted.

It resulted in some kind of glitch and no matter what I gave Sabrina, Vaughn, Denny and Lanna their hearts would not go up (they were all engaged for weeks before I raised the island). I accidently deleted the file when I was in my fourth year so I don't know if it would ever correct itself but I even gave all four their favorite gift each day with no result.

In fact, I have not! I thought the exact same thing! Lol. I will raise the island and see if that changes the hearts problem. Thanks. :D

It takes a while, but they will definaetly go up. Theres not glitch about it.
