What exactly does the godhand do? Does it pick up everything in sight in one tap?

I never heard anything about a 'godhand' in Sunshine Islands.
Are you absolutely sure it's in this game?

I think you can pick everything you can currently see off the ground one-by-one without moving towards the item.

It takes up a slot in your bag to carry with you and you need to equip it in one of your slots. Once equipped, you can collect any item you see on the screen without moving.

When I remembered to equip it, it was a little easier to gather a whole column of crops, but other than completing your accessory collection, it is not a necessity.

I like to use it to get the middle crops of the multi-harvest ones, without having to destroy any. I plant five groups of 9 seeds in a line, and when I need to harvest them I always equip the glove. It's pretty useful to me.

If you stand on the side of the middle row and get close enough, harvesting the middle isn't much of a problem without the godhand. You can stand in one spot and get everything though with the godhand.

You can get the middle crop from the top and bottom of the 3X3 grid only if you have the godhand. If you don't have it, you have to stand on the right or left side of the grid.

Is there really a way to get the crops in the middle line? I believe not...

I've never gotten the Godhand in SI. Seems like a nice addition though, might have to try that sometime.

I have columns of 3 across the field with a space between each column.

I can reach the middle of the column with my water can using red and blue wonderfuls. I reach the crop in the middle of the crops which have multiple harvest by reaching across the plant on either side.

I tried your configuration, Melian when I first got my greenhouse so I see why the Godhand is a must for you.

I had to use my sickle to eliminate most of the middle row to get some of those crops and let the remainder grow for a second harvest because I didn't have the Godhand yet.

I have the godhand~
I find no use for it though, since I really only grow a minimal amount of crops at a time~
I wish I could have had it earlier in the game.
Especially when you have the crops that grow multiple times~
Although it did keep me from having to wait until the shops open~

Because working on a farm makes one fairly tired, I guess =P

Or because sometimes you can't. Not the way that I plant my crops, anyway.

The godhand is an accessory Charlie will make you from orichalcum. It will appear on his menu after you have unlocked all of the other accessories.

I think it takes 200 pieces of orichalcum for Charlie to create it.
