June Nintendo Power Article on A New Beginning

I just bought Nintendo Power's June edition for the Last Story article and was suprised to see HM! If anyone was curious, here's the article. There's also the same picture of the girl MC we're used to seeing and another picture of a cow.
Farm Fresh
Natsume plows forth the north forty with Harvest Moon: A New Benginning on Nintendo 3DS.
Time flies down on the virtual farm. It's hard to believe 15 years have passed since the very first Harvest Moon debuted on the Super NES in 1997. Nintendo gamers have come back to the series year after year, and the Nintendo 3DS is set to host the lastest installment in the series.
Customazation is the buzzword in Harvest Moon: A New Beginning, coming out later this year. That means full-featured farmer-edit mode with options for things like gender, hairstyles, and facial features, plus more flexibility in setting up the farm itself. No longer does the corn field go here or and the pasture go there. Players can lay out their land how they like, redorate their ranch house, spruce up the local village, and otherwise work toward the perfect 3D-argriculture experience.
The only thing I can say that caught my eye was "
coming out later this year."

I read that too but I never trust printed articles because so much can happen before they are published! So I am always worried the dates and speculations are wrong D:

True, but Natsume themselves already said it would be released this year.
But, as you said there could be delays, due to unforseen problems.

I've been fooled too many times before! Ha ha, I am hoping for a fall release though. I feel like it'll be fall or nothing because they'll think "Why not make this a little better and release it for summer sales?"
Have any Harvest Moon games been released near winter? I can't remember.

I think there was one released in Nov, but Aug-Oct is the norm.

*sigh* That's depressing.
I want a huge article on it. ...I actually have that issue right now, but I haven't looked at it yet...

Personally I feel like the 3DS line up is a little weak right now on roleplaying/simulation games, with Animal Crossing being pushed, and Harvest Moon ANB offers so much customization that they will end up producing another article on it, maybe even a preview depending on when its released.
At least thats what I think.

On Natsume's facebook page they posted a video in which it says 'and it's coming out fourth quarter of this year'. So that means october - december

Well with Nintendo releasing a statment that the 3DS won't be getting any revisions (a 3DS Lite or something of the sort) Holiday season will be perfect for getting this game and a 3DS :)

Maybe there'll be more info next month. If it's starting to get coverage, then it's not too far off that the date will be released. I guess the reason why Natsume hasn't concreted one is that they are hoping to get the bugs worked out before getting fans hopes up.

I think it will be released around November-December. Maybe MAYBE October, but I would not keep my hopes to high.
