it doesnt bug me too much, i give my self cute short names lol

I wish it was longer, too... My name is 8 letters.. Oh well, I can just keep using Giode. :3

I know! It bothered me too, especially in ToTT, where it couldn't fit Lillian.

I missed the twelve letters limts in M/FoMT so much.

Aha! So I'm not the only one then.

I don't really care as I used to never name the MC after myself (my name's full form is 7 letters long though its dimunitives are only 3-5 letters long). I have a tradition of using very short names and name each new version's MC's after the child I had in the last played one (eg. my 'Yuri' from SI had a daughter named 'Mei' so I gave that name to TOTT's MC) so I have that feeling of continuity.

I wonder why we can't have more letters? I believe Natsume knows that some of us have longer names and we would like to use them.

It might take up too much memory or something... anyway, we all gotta deal with it, make yourselves nicknames people! or if your like me, just shorten your name, like my name is matthew, but i am gonna use mathew.

That's right! For me, as Zuzanna is too long I would spell it Zuzana... and in case of Chelsea... why not Chelsi or Chelsy?

It's 6 in the Japanese version; screwing with hard coded stuff is what creates bugs.

Hm, still enough room for me. I don't really like long names since most of the time people will just give you nickname anyways.

I'll probably just name my character Deanna or Alice... maybe Rio. I haven't decided yet.

I only have a problem with then names for animals I wanted to name my dog Lillipup and cow miltank

I doesn't bother me cause my name is 5 letters. xD

But when I'm naming my kid, I usually want to give it a long name, and that's when it becomes annoying. xP

Aww... 6 letter limit? Well, I guess it's okay,

I will be naming my character Nikki instead of my real name which is 9 characters.
