That's kind of unfair to people buying/playing the English version. D:

Dogs name is now Tepig, are you happy Natsume, my dogs a pig... Hahahaha that kinda funny now, just what to name the 20 cats..

I don't use my real name in my games. It feels a bit awkward seeing my name in there.

Anyway, it is rather restricting that we are limited with 6 letters. It's hard to choose a name for my characters that way.

It makes me remember... too bad we don't have pigs in this game. I liked the cute one in SI and the one from MM was nice as well.

Do they have befriendable animals like ToT? And I liked the pig from MM, I called him Oink. Well in my head.

You can befriend the wild animals, but you can't take them on your farm. I don't know what they will do, if you make friends with them. In SI they were searching for stuff for you. In ToTT you could get some cooked dishies from them (interesting) and this time... no idea. Probably they will give you something nice.

To explain it a bit better:
A name like 'Makoto" in Japanese would be (in hiragana): まこと (ma ko to) which is a name which would here consist of 6 letters, but there it's only 3 characters.

I don't think so. We couldn't name the wild animals in SI and ToTT, so probably this time it won't be possible as well. But I can't tell for sure. Maybe you can? Personally I would like to give them a name

I hate the 6 letter limit. I swear, I've exhausted all of the good 6 letter (or below) names by now. I guess I'll just have to recycle.

I want to name my daughter 'Symphony' in ToTT but because of the limit...../sobs
