In Japan, isn't the character limit 10? Just found this out and thought I should share.

I'm not even 100% sure that the limit is 10 in Japan, I think I only read that once somewhere.

the character limit in the Japanese version is 6 too. I'm not sure where you read that...

I think it's a bit more complicated than just adding more spaces. I'd rather Natsume didn't mess with anything and kept to just translating.

I usually use a different name, but a few more spaces would be convienent.

I just usually use the default names for the characters, so I'll probably just use Rio (Isn't that the female MC's default name?) for the name.

My name is just 4 letters.... So iam good ^0^ but I wish they had more letters >.< I like other names that have more then 6 letters^0^

When it comes to a female MC, I always use the same name in games where I can name my character, and it is 6 letters, so I'm fine.
And when it comes to dude MCs all the names I think up are 3 letters, haha.
But there was that one game where I had to name a girl and it gave me 5 spaces. 5. So I have now added the name Rice to my list for worst-case scenarios. Not that any of you really needed to know that. xD It actually grew on me. Rice...

I really hate the 6 limit character >_<; 4 was even worser as it's hard to come up with a really good name that'll fit in D: Most of my characters have really long names T^T Maybe only 2 or 3 that i'll use will actually fit....bleh x.x;

It doesn't bother me as much this time as the default names will fit, but in IoH it bothered me immensely as you couldn't name Chelsea Chelsea >_> « What The Eggplant » was up with that?

I usually don't have problems with the 6-character limit (and my name is only four letters), but it would be nice to have a few more spaces, just in case.
