I heard it's doesn't works in the mine but how about you wears it in the morning to save time doing your chores first or after that way you can actually have time left.

The only location where the Time-Slowing Ring does not appear to have
any effect is when you are exploring the Mine on Volcano Island.
Found on this site.
So no, it doesn't work when you're in the mine.

Time doesn't move in the same way in the mine. It moves when you go down using the stairs (10 minutes for every three or four floors) or if you fall through a pitfall.

The time-slowing ring works for above ground time-saving but not in the mine.

This is the All-Inclusive Guide to Mining by basket_case which has a section on the movement of time in the mine.

Another post on this page quotes the amount of time to the bottom floor as 12 hours 50 minutes which sounds pretty close to me. Allow that much time before 5 a.m, plus travel time to your house, to plan your trips in the mine.

When I plan on going down the mine, I do all I can very early in the morning, skip talking to people, and get there as early as you can. After 10:00 pm (or 8:00 pm, I'm not sure), you'll starting wasting your stamina, even if you have two green wonderfuls attached to your tools, so pay attention to that too.

Starting early, that's the answer for me.
