As you most likely know by now, the 4 pets you can get in SI come in 2 different colours. When being given each pet you will always have 2 different coloured pets to choose from. The colour you choose doesn’t affect your pet in any way, so it’s purely a matter of preference which one you choose.

So, I thought it might be fun to make this topic and see which colours of pets are more popular, and which ones you guys prefer.

For the record, if you haven’t seen them already, in game or on the game guide, here are the different colours you can choose between for each pet.

Personally, I think the dark brown dog with the blue neckerchief is gorgeous, and, although my real life cat is a very similar black and white to the 2nd cat, I think those huge blue eyes on the white kitty are just heart-melting ^^ I have a harder time choosing between the 2 pigs, but I think the black pig is probably my preference. I love both horses, and the white (grey) horse is a nice alternative, but I am hugely fond of chestnut (brown) horses, so I have to go with the original ^^

I like the brown horse, black cat, darker dog, and pink pig. Those are the ones I chose. They are so cute!!!!

I like the brown horse, white cat, lighter dog, and the pink piggie.

I prefer the white horse, dark brown dog, white cat and pink pig.

Don't know why I didn't think of this before, but I've now added a poll to the first post. You can choose up to 4 options, so choose which of the colours you prefer for each pet.

I chose black pig, black cat, white horse, and the lighter colored dog.

I prefer the White Horse (mainly because it was the first game I played where there weren't only brown horses, otherwise I think they're equal), the white cat, the pink pig, and the lightbrown dog (mainly for nostalgia cause all good ol' HM dogs look this way)
