Fishing degree

Do I get fishing degree points for shipping fish that ducks caught for me? I'm too impatient to catch my own fish! I could never get 10000000 fishing points on my own....

yes of course you get points... anything you ship or catch fishes may do!

Well, in the guide about SI it says that you gain +2 Fishing point when you ship an item that you have caught. I don't know if the game keeps track of who caught the fish, though, so you may get points if you ship the fish the ducks caught or you may not.

Shipping the fish the ducks bring you will count towards your fishing degree.

What won't count is if they bring you bottles, legendary treasure or fish fossil. You can ship them but these won't appear on your fish list until you actually catch them personally.

Put the fish in the shipping box one at a time. If you put in a whole stack at one time, it will only count as one fish. This is known as the "stack glitch" and will effect how many degree points you receive if you are not aware of it.
