No need to be... I'm no different in Sunshine Islands XD I usually have a whole lot of crops in HM games but the weather system made it so frustrating I planted almost none at all and rely almost completely on my animals and the mine ^^
you can plant crops! that's the best way of getting money and pick up the weeds in you field, then go to sprout island then get the seaweed rock there then sell it :D
