Hello everyone~ So, I bought all three Wonderfuls offered at Chen's shop, and I figured they were supposed to reappear there like it said on the fogu site after at least 3 days? I'm in Fall of my 1st year and they haven't reppeared yet, and I've bought all of the tools from Gannon that have the Wonderful slots. Is there something else I'm not doing? Or do they just not reappear?

Thank you!

They don't reappear, all three at the same time, but I think some will show up during winter. x:

Check daily.

Exactly. In Winter, depending on your Farm Points (which you can't see), Cheng will sell wonderfuls, of any colour. Theses are the ones that only have the chance of reappearing after 3 days, the first ones never come back.

But keep in mind that you won't find a wonderful every three days, it's a rare event. If you are pacient enough, you can save before going to bed and check the store first thing in the morning. If it's not there, use a tool and check again. If not, use it two times and so on. It's really boring, I must add.

I just wish there was a more reliable way of getting wonderfuls, considering how vital they are for tool upgrades. I'd be happy to pay MUCH more for wonderfuls, if I could just buy them more consistantly from Chen. The type of wonderful you get from winning contests is soo random, assuming you even get first place. True, you can juggle them around through Charlie, but what a major hassle. And don't even get me started on trying to cook them up!

Cook them up? You mean out them together from the shards, right? I've never done that before. It doesn't sound hard. You give Charlie the shards, right? Or is there more to it?

I know the shards can be obtained for winning second place, and you need...nine, I think?

No, they actually mean cooking them. Look at this

Yup. I wouldn't even have a problem with Charlie making wonderfuls from shards, except he ONLY makes Indigo Wonderfuls. If only the wonderfuls he makes were other colors too....

Charlie will make a purple wonderful if you bring him seven chips from the festivals you enter that have prizes.

This thread has about wonderfuls at Chen's. They will appear in Chen's inventory approximately every three days in Winter.

It's not that bad to cook wonderfuls. It was a personal goal for me, to cook them all. First, you'll need lots of experience, so save always before trying that. Then, you'll need a bunch of ingredients. And then you just need to put everything together. I enjoyed that :)

I enjoyed it when it was finally not a failed dish. I kept all the ingredients (the recipes, not the individual components) in my quality improver. By the time I had all of the rare ingredients and my cooking degree was high enough to make black books without failure, all of my recipes in the quality improver were S-rank.

That meant that my wonderfuls were S-rank just as if I had won them at a festival.

I did the same thing for my first black books, Veggie. Not for the wonderfuls, though. I didn't mind their rank, since I never noticed they working differently according to it.

But just the joy of actually cooking such a complicated recipe makes it worth it, doens't it?
