hey you know that trees need a year to go mature right? so in winter the trees are going to dead or not?

This is what I found on the Ushi site

Trees will grow during the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons. When it becomes Winter, the trees will go dormant until the first of the year.

So no, your tree won't die in Winter, but it will stop growing and your tree will grow again once it hits Spring.

also with the rice and the other grains

No, winter will kill ANY outside crops or grain. The only exception is grass, which will come back in spring.

Also, your rice will die if it matures and you don't cut it for 10 days. I lost my first round because I forgot about that...

And pay close attention to your trees, they're hard to grow and you'll need a lot of patience. And a place to write down sun and water points, so you won't lose track of them.

You will also need to put a gold lumber fence around each of your trees. There is a 1% random chance that your tree will die if you do not (even if you give it the correct number of water points and the sun cooperates).

You can get gold lumber from the monkeys on Animal Island, you can make it in your kitchen, or it is a birthday present from Gannon. You do not need to buy it from Gannon. He charges way too much for it.

I was so traumatized by how many times my apple trees died before they were fully matured that I kept checking if all trees were there before thinking of saving the file. Even when I was using the golden fence. Even after they were fully grown

The fruit trees and grass will go dormant in winter. I'm pretty sure wheat does also.

No, wheat needs to be harvested before Winter or it is lost. I think it was Grand Bazaar that it came back in the Spring if it was not harvested.
