when you give lily a thing and no music sign on her head and if you give 5 like that, will she give u sunstone?

There has to be a note above the recipient's head for it to count.

If it there is no note it is not a gift the person likes or loves.

Yep. Lily has expensive taste, so it's hard to give her those five gifts early on in the game. Some of the easier things that she likes are gold, red magic flowers, truffles, and 10,000 G tickets. Her favorite gift is pirate treasure.
