True, but she is marriagable in later games, and does have psuedo-romance events in SI. Plus, she's just so darn cute with Elliot ^^ Perhaps Elliot could suceed where Mark couldn't, and convince her to share her love between him and the HG?

I think Vaughn and Sabrina work so well together because they fit the Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl trope. The same goes for Gray and Mary (who, let’s face it, are essentially Vaughn and Sabrina in another town. Or should that be the other way round?)

For the same reason, Lanna and Denny are pretty much Popuri and Kai, although there isn’t the whole ‘forbidden love’ aspect to their romance. I think this kind of couple tends to work because both partners tend to be optimistic, cheerful and adventurous. Then again, perhaps they’re a little too similar. They do kind of seem more like brother/sister or good friends than lovers, sometimes.

I’m not entirely sure that Natalie and Pierre work, either. They seem more like they’d work better as friends than lovers… Again, I’d probably say the same for Julia and Elliot. They work well as friends, but I get the impression Julia would work better with a stronger man, and Elliot…I’m not really sure about Elliot. Perhaps he’d work better with someone more sympathetic to his needs and emotions, someone who can help him feel loved again and rebuild his self-confidence. Maybe Alissa might work for him?

Will and Lily seem to work well together, given that they’re both sort of upper class. Plus, Lily is obsessed with getting rich, and marrying a money bags like Will would enable her to settle down and enjoy herself for once. But I haven’t seen them together as a couple yet, so I can’t really comment on them.

So yeah, if I was deciding the pairings, I’d probably go for:

Vaughn x Sabrina
Will x Lily
Julia x Shea (perhaps they could connect through their shared passion for nature and animals?)
Elliot x Alissa
Denny x Natalie
Lanna x Pierre

Hmm…Maybe I’ll just leave the pairings as they officially stand ^^;

Elliot x Sabrina - he needs a girl who would be calm and she needs a boy who would be warm. I believe that Sabrina would not feel tired of Elliot being clumsy. They both would work together, watch the ocean together and live in happiness. Elliot would make her life better, because his personality is mild and she needs someone who would give her more warm emotions.

Denny x Natalie - I think that Denny would make Natalie more relaxed. He would show her that life can be full of fun and happiness.

I get the impression that Natalie x Pierre are a bit similar (personality wise) to Nami x Gustafa. She's withdrawn and abrupt, he's laid back, mellow and good at getting her to come out of her shell.

Ok, so I finally got all the other couples married, and I noticed something.... some of them don't really seem happy.

For example;

All Lanna and Denny seem to care about is fishing. Lanna goes on about how messy Denny's house is, even though he doesn't live there any more.

Elliot does nothing but complain about Julia's cooking. Julia calls Elliot pathetic.

Natalie and Pierre, to me it just seems like Natalie married him for the sake of having someone, and he just wanted someone to taste his food.

Now, Vaughn and Sabrina on the other hand, they really do seem to care about each other. I noticed, that the day after a snow storm, Vaughn commented that Sabrina was a total mess during the storm, in a way that seemed like he really did care about her. Sabrina does come across as really caring for him.

I don't know about Lilly and Will, because I married Will.


Now, if I would pair them off like this;

Denny and Natalie - I imagine that they would have more to them than Lanna and Denny.
Julia and Pierre - then it wouldn't matter that Julia can't cook.
Vaughn and Sabrina - they're too cute to break up.
Elliot and Lanna - because Elliot is sweet, and would make a very caring husband for Lanna. I think that's all Lanna wants really, is to be taken care of.
Will and Chelsea - because he is happy with me.
Lilly and Mark - because she isn't getting Will, lol.

To be honest I wouldn't even want to see the rival heart events
I would happily fill up their and never ever let them marry
