Requests?

Just wondering....does this game have the requests system like ToTT did? I really, really enjoyed that aspect about it and would love to see it return.
Not that I am aware of. The only 'requests' I can think of in this game are the growing the town requests.
Things like, ship a certain amount of honey or unlock the cow festival or build a certain number of a specific type of bush.
There is no time limit and no real reward other than the next stage of the town and new people so I am not sure if this is what you were after or not.
