Well I didn't purchase a 3DS JUST for ANB, there's a few other games that I want. But ANB was probably the game I was most excited to get it for.

"Hmmm OoT looks cool...I could get it for that...BUT THERE'S ANB AS WELL"

I am~ My birthday is on the 18th, and I will be getting the gorgeous new purple one!(my dad hates gift shopping, so he lets us kids pick out our own gifts at the store, and then just waits and gives it to us on our birthday  ) I just wanted it for ANB originally, but after checking out the games released/scheduled to be released for it, I think it will be very worth it!

Harvest Moon, Rune Factory 4 and Animal Crossing, why not get one? Sure the 3D can make your eyes sore but you can turn it off, and the price has gone down quite a bit since it first came out. You'll have to update eventually, they'll stop making DS games all together soon.

I don't think they will stop making DS games, because of course, the 3DS can still play them... but they will likely significantly reduce the amount of DS games being made! But I am sure that Pokemon will still be living on the DS system until maybe next year.

Putting it on my christmas list xD. Nahh, but I'm definitely buying it for both ANB and RF4 (Which will be my first RF game!)

There are a lot of great games for 3DS and I'm sure there'll be many more, but my main reason for wanting a 3DS was indeed to play ANB and RF4. And then my parents bought it for me ;D
They're awesome.

I didn't buy a 3DS because of ANB. I bought it because I realized the DS is dying, and the 3DS has games that I will play. I like Professor Layton, Cooking Mama, Mario, Mario Kart, and Harvest Moon. I will be purchasing ANB, it's just that it isn't the only reason that I bought my 3DS.

Yes, Pokemon will be on DS probably until next gen. Black 2/White 2 are for DS, as is the recently released Pokemon Conquest. (But if you do want to play Pokemon in 3D, Rumble Blast is for 3DS and is a lot of fun!)

ANB was definitely one of the games for which I bought my 3DS. That said, my DS had screen problems and I really needed a new one. (I got mine last Christmas.)

And jumping on the color bandwagon, I have the Aqua Blue one~. I think it's out of production except for the value pack, which might also be out of production at this point. :3
