Anyone else contemplating purchasing a 3DS for ANB?

I bought my 3DS because... it's the next system. The DS will die out soon, and it's already losing it's steam. Majorly. An upgrade is needed. But if we're listing games... RF4, OoT, Kid Icarus (mainly this one), Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion, and Paper Mario. I actually didn't know about ANB when I got my 3DS. Which is the neat Zelda one, since we're also listing colors apparently.

Awww, lucky! I wanted the Zelda 3ds, but unfortunately
my parents said no... I'm planning to get the 3ds XL for an early Christmas gift, though. Probably in black. The whole reason I wanted the 3ds in the first place was two games; OoT (I'm a major Zelda fan) and Luigi's Mansion. Now I want to get ANB and Animal Crossing, though. Argh, I can't choose!

YESSSSSSS!!! This was also the reason why I'm getting one 8D.....well before I found out about ANB. Was it the same as playing on the ps2? or were the graphics kinda more box-ish? how were the mystic artes? (sorry for going off topic...)

But yeah Tales of the Abyss and A New Beginning are the reason hehe.

^The graphics were pretty good, pretty much like the PS2 version, actually.

I knew there would eventually be a 3DS HM game, so I bought my 3DS when it first came out.
I'll be getting Luigi's Mansion, Paper Mario, RF4, ANB, aaaaaaand some other games I can't remember.

Seconding this. If NOA doesn't give us the bundle than I'll go out and buy a purple or pink 3DS and buy ANB and Fire Emblem at the same time. So I'll probably wait until Fire Emblem gets released in NA before I buy a 3DS. That being said, even if we get the FE bundle I'll still get ANB at the same time that I purchase the bundle.

I actually got mine in August of last year, right before the price change because I wanted those Ambassador games. *__* It took all my birthday money, but it was worth it. I've loved it ever since. I'm actually going to use my birthday money this year to upgrade to the XL (going to pass down my original to my daughter once I do the system transfer). I admit, I want the XL for ANB, though.

I already have a 3DS.
I originally wanted just a DS because my boyfriend and I wanted to get the old Pokemon games and play the new one.
Ended up getting two 3DS systems and Soul Silver/Heart of Gold and Black/White for us.
I recently bought Harvest Moon ToTT and it's my first game of the series.
I can't put it down.
I've never been so addicted to a game before!
Now I can't wait for ANB!

I've had a 3DS for a while now. I've been waiting for Luigi's Mansion 2 and Animal Crossing. A new harvest moon game just makes it better

I got my first 3ds last year before LoZ: Ocarina of Time came out, so naturally I got that, then the Midnight Purple 3ds came out, and I sold my aqua one for the purple one, I'd been eyeing that baddie since they showed it at e3. But, I mainly got mine for Animal Crossing, and Kingdom Hearts DDD (since it's confirmed as the last hand held KH, which means KH3!!!), Then I heard Theatryhthm Final Fantasy was coming here, so naturally I had to have it. I also got TTOTT for 3ds, rather than normal ds. I've played a bunch of fantastic games, and a lot more promising 3ds games are coming out in october as well!~ But I'm super excited for HM and RF4! (though this wont be until spring next year more than likely)

to be honest, I doubt they would release that bundle in the us. I did hear a rumor of a green one though bundled with luigis mansion for this holiday season, as it would make sense, considering last they they had the flame red with super mario 3dland.

but you never do know. for your guys sake, I hope they do. it would be awesome.
it just seems like they get all of the cooler bundles. I know they're doing a monster hunter one as well~ :/ especially the contest they ran over in europe, the princess peach, mario, and mushroom 3ds.

This is partly my own reason too. All the 'hottest' up and coming games will be for the 3DS and I don't want to get 'left behind' so to speak.

Nintendogs, Cooking Mama, ANB, and Animal Crossing will make the purchase worth it. =/

It's going to kill me since ANB will probably be out before it happens, but I'm waiting for news from Nintendo about the Fire Emblem bundle (like every other FE fan) to see if we'll be getting it. If we get the FE bundle, then that's the 3DS I'll be getting. If not, then I'll probably buy an XL sometime next year. I really just want RF4, ANB and Fire Emblem.

I've been wanting to buy a 3DS since release. It is silly, but since pink and purple came out, I've been waiting on new colors. But considering as how the 3DS XL is coming out, why bother? I'm just going to buy that.

I do admit I'd wait must longer if it wasn't for this game coming out, though.
