As much as I like kids in the game, I have to agree. They're kind of tokens of progress in games, at this point. I just like watching them grow up.

i miss the Wii ones, they'd water your crops for you, and i hear the trenching system is out in ANB
Really? That made crops a lot easier to water. I'll miss that.

I will too, but to be fair, after having seen screen shots where the fields only look like they are 2x3 that is understandable.

Yes, I know, I only made fields that were trenches in ToTT, not single plots! I just had to water a few times and done! plus if the plot i was watering had a twisty trench, then the water would pop up at the end of the watering that always makes me happy to see!

Can someone possibly post a picture of what the child looks like as a teenager?

it was so cool to merely need to water just one space and get, nine or ten done!

Do we know if we can choose the child's gender, use the save and reload trick, or if it is random in this game? Both kids look fine to me, just curious.

If we can use the save and reload trick, that'd be nice. Why? Cuz you can save in the middle of the day now...and I want a son.

Especially if you marry Amir/Celka. That'd be one awkward conversation...

"No dear, I have no idea why our son looks like the animal dealer! What, just because you were gone for a month and I visited him every day for that time means I cheated on you?! The nerve!"
