Will the standard 'one child' policy of Harvest Moon be withheld? Or will we be able to have more children?

It looks like one kid, but at least they grow up into a teenager and be in that stage for life instead of always being a toddler or kid.

Ah, really? Having a teenager would be nice instead of that perpetual kid stage. Too bad you can't have more than one, though!

As much as I like kids in the game, I have to agree. They're kind of tokens of progress in games, at this point. I just like watching them grow up.

Yes, one child again. But I agree, that it is good that they grow into a teen, instead being forever a child.

Yes, the Wii kids were /so/ much more interactive. And I especially liked how they looked like your spouse in AP (although I never played it, and never played far enough in ToT to have a kid).

Really? The trenching system is out? I'm surprised by that... I've never used it, but still... It seems a bit odd that they'd take /that/ of all things out of the game.

I'm not too upset about just having one child. I mean, if it DIDN'T grow up to a teenager, then I'd be bummed. The fact that your child actually grows up though makes me not really have the desire for another kid. I try not to be greedy ^^

That would be... slightly strange =P

It'll probably just be another event in which your child falls out of bed and can suddenly walk or you come home one evening to find your child has grown. Something like that.
