I'm not sure. I might, because I haven't really saw how his personality is, or anything in that sort.
So, I'll wait for that and see then.

I find the constant mentions of his age really weird though. He doesn't even look THAT old, but man oh man he makes way too big of a deal about it. It kind of reminds me of ladies who freak out and start spending thousands of dollars on anti-aging creams the second they turn 30.
So...he's sort of like a male version of Muffy? Without being constantly dumped?
Aside from the fact that he's not wearing a very lacy, red dress, I would assume so!

I actually did put him high on my list 'cause I thought he looks good, but dialogues can change my decision later on. If he talks so much about his age like you said, then it's a deal breaker.

Probably not. I just don't like the way his kimono and hairstyle tends to make him look like a drag queen to me.

I might change my mind once I meet and talk to him in-game, but, looking at appearances alone, I probably won't go after him. His eyebrows remind me of fuzzy, squirming caterpillars. His bone structure doesn't bother me, just mainly the eyebrows.

If this is actually true, my plan to marry Neil is all messed up. >:{
Also, just curious -- how many people are familiar with Natsume Soseki (the Japanese author whom Sengoku was named after in English)?

He's actually more like a more mature Rock than a Muffy IMO
Though about the lazy thing, I don't know if he's really that old and is honestly always tired (hard to believe) or just became a hypochondriac from a mid-life crisis. I never activated any of his events and didn't read enough text on the wiki to know.
I never remember Muffy making constant mentions of her age and treating MC like an embryo. I can understand him feeling like a fossil compared to supposedly young MC (teens who never touched a gameboy makes me feel ancient, so I know the feel), and he's an all right character, but it makes the datable aspect seem strange, to me at least. I know people that like him more will prolly overlook it more easily.

I hope to marry him, and when I get the game I will go through the black and purple heart events, but if his personality kills the love, I am moving on to Sanjay or Neil!

Oh no no no! Marry Soseki? How would I? He is so old and ugly. How could Marvelous make him a bachelor? We shouldn't have old bachelors. Every bachelor should be as handsome and hot as Neil, because only Neil is a real guy.
XD
But seriously - ya, probably I'll to marry Soseki. He is my favorite bachelor in this game and I hope his personality is interesting.

Actually, I found Soseki the mature-looking type. He's really not that old. I might consider him when I get to know him. That's when I'm going to decide whether my character will pursue him.

But he sounds nothing like Rock. Well, I wouldn't mind hearing how you think he's a mature version of Rock, but if he's like Rock in anyway, then I guess he's off my list. I hated Rock.

I agree completely.
Sengoku/Soseki is my favorite bachelor right now, even if he is "old" (isn't he only 30-something???). Then again, I still don't know much about the game right now. With work taking up every second of my day I haven't had much time to research adequately, so my favorite may become my least favorite [and vice versa]. Too early to be sure.
But as for now, the answer is a definite "yes"!

Err, than how 'bout Allen fix you up sweety? JK anyways if he's gonna be like that than I don't know...
I hated Rock. If he's like Rock, than I'll probably just date him for while...or not all.

I said "more mature" Rock

I didn't mean "mature" as in "older" (though it does apply both ways). Unlike Rock he doesn't act like a total manchild. But he is quite lazy/laid-back, like Rock is. I mean, he used to have a job, but he is now retired (or on an eternal sabbatical). He also likes to tease/flirt with the MC, in a joking kind of way. The leisureliness and joviality is where I'm drawing the comparison from. I like Soseki a lot more than Rock but topic-wise, I wouldn't marry him (but don't just go by what I say; I more or less like all of the bachelors but I would only marry Neil).
It's actually more flattering to his character to imagine he is in his 40s/middle-aged, because if he were in his 30s, especially early 30s, I'd think he complains way too much about "being too old" and that it's too young of an age to quit working.

He's a real hypochondriac too, he's usually in the doctors and there's even a heart event related to him being sick when he wasn't really. He will talk about having some weird ache and pains when I'm sure he's fine really.
I've only seen the first three of his heart events and you do seem to spend a lot of your time cheering him up or talking about the future with him. He seems like the more mature guy so if you like that kind of thing it's fine. He has a teasing side and will play a little joke on the MC during some of the events.
The star event you end up talking about seeing it next year as well and how much fun it was.
I was thinking of getting my MC to marry him but I changed my mind after constantly hearing his moaning. I'm sure he will stop that when he starts to date you though.
I do like him much better than Rock though, that kid was annoying and one of the reasons I didn't play the girl version of Wonderful Life.
