I remember the rain storm that destroyed my carrot field... I think it was a curse made by my husband Vaughn

Typhoons happen only in Summer, Blizzards happen only in Winter.

Spring and Fall don't have severe storms, so I suspect the rain may have added too many water points for your carrots to survive. Fall can be rather rainy and not having enough sun points can be a problem. It can effect the Fruit Trees. You may have enough water for a lot of fruit but not enough sun to produce much fruit.

Usually that will happen with Yams. That is a crop that needs little water and a couple of rainy days will destroy the crop. I usually have enough seeds in my rucksack to replant after the crop is destroyed.

I am sure that Vaughn didn't mean to curse your carrots.
