if playing it right(unlike me..lol)how many game years does it take to get the money and stone or whatever to build the greenhouse?

you need to raise greenhouse island then after a few days go to Gannon's shop then build greenhouse
then you have to earn A LOT of money because then greenhouse is very expensive

By the time you can reach the bottom of the mine you probably will have enough funds for the greenhouse.

How long it will take for the building materials; it depends on how many hearts the monkeys have and if you are regularly making lumber out of branches you get from foraging and fishing.

I think the greenhouse is one of the bests things I've ever built in SI. I plant lots of things there out of the season, crops who gives me lots of money and those things.

Don't forget you can also BUY lumber from Gannon. While I do cut what lumber I can and use the monkey team, I still find it easier and cheaper in the long run just to buy what lumber I need from Gannon. Actually, Gannon will be happy to provide the lumber himself so you don't have to do anything extra for lumber, but it's still cheaper to buy all your lumber from him, THEN ask him for upgrades and have him use your lumber. I think you almost HAVE to do it this way. With a lot of upgrades requiring hundreds, even thousands of lumber, it's better just to buy the lumber than waste precious time and energy trying to gather it yourself.

Making your own lumber is far cheaper than buying it from Gannon.

If you use the green team to do a large enchantment you can get a discount on the labor and you can supplement your own lumber by buying a small amount from Gannon at a discount before requesting the labor.

If you want to make your own lumber, it is a great project for Winter. Lay all of the branches you have collected on your field, put some blue wonderfuls and two green wonderfuls in your axe and you can make a fast job of making a load of lumber.

If you want to do the job with no time passing, lay the lumber out in empty spaces in your greenhouse. Time doesn't pass there and you can make lumber or material stone there. (I always seem to have to wait for one crop to be harvested before I can change the suns so I make my lumber at this time.

I bought very little lumber from Gannon.

wait if you want to build greenhouse to earn money,you mine and sell the ores, plant many crops and sell them, get the wool, milk and eggs from sheep, cow or chickens everyday,collect mushrooms and sell them, pick up the seaweed near the gannon's shop, collect the useless things on the floor sell them all! that's all i can say or i think there is many others more!
