It's also possible to unlock both the ANB style cows and the original style cows.

I believe Cher posted somewhere, I'll dig for it, but she posted that there a couple of colors of most animals... No pics though

EDIT: It was multiple colors of cows... Anyway here:

The jersey cows in this game are all brown except for the pink of their noses.

There are multiple cow colors.

Regular cow (3): White with large black spots, white with small black spots, or the classic "bubble" cow with black spots.

Jersey cow (2): All brown or white with brown spots.

EDIT2: You see a preview of the animal your buying, I remember Cher posting that!
