when there is a typhoon then you have planted a crop outside will it be lost when you put a fence around them?

Even if you put a fence around your crops, they can still be blown away.

I nromally save my game the night before a typhoon/blizzard, sleep immediately the next day, then the day after the storm go out straight away and check my fields. If something's destroyed my crops, or a stone has landed in the middle of my grass fields, I just reload my game and try again until I get a result I'm happy with.

True, but if you save and reload you can change how much of each crop in destroyed.
