I would love Elli or Ann to return. . . They were so great. I guess the mineral town boys too. Haven't seen them in a while.

I personally love the idea of the one-game showing bachelors, villagers, and Bachelorettes coming back again. In fact, I even made up a list of who I'd love/think should come back again, since I feel these characters shouldn't appear in just one game (don't worry, I'm not listing all my favorites).
For the Bachelors: Skye (HMDS Cute), Wizard (AP), and the HK (AP).
For the Bachelorettes: Leia (HM DS), Keira (HM DS), Vivi (AP).
For the Villagers: Lillia (M/FoMT), Won (I know he was a bachelor, but I'd rather have him as a villager, M/FoMT), Kappa (for the same reason as Won, M/FoMT), HG (MM or ToT/AP one), Nina (ANWL, HM DS/Cute), Galen (ANWL/HM DS/Cute), Howard (ToTT), and Daryl (ANWL, HM DS/Cute).

Anyway, I wasn't saying in the beginning that the Witch Princess should stop making appearances, she's too awesome to disappear, but I was getting annoyed that she's been a bachelorette in every game she appears in. Just having her as a simple villager would be nice, heck, make a seemingly normal villager, but when and if you befriend her enough, you unlock a random event where that villager turns out to be the Witch Princess. She explains that she disguises herself to trick the Harvest Goddess into thinking that she's still in the village in ANB.

Oh, cool idea! That would be great, even if it were obvious which villager was the Witch Princess! What would be really good to is if we learned that HG and WP are actually sisters seperated at birth and they families to raised them had a major influence on their lives (which we probably won't see...) or maybe a village who devoted itself to the WP and a village devoted to the HG are around a third village who isn't devoted to anyone, and we are farmers in the undevoted village, and we have to settle the differences of the villages before they erupt into war! I know it sounds a lot like ToTT, but bear with the idea!

I wish they would just keep cameos/recurring characters within the current generation (such as IoH and SI having almost the exact same cast, or FoMT anf MFoMT, or ToT and AP), or not do them at all. It's probably just me. .-. But I've always preferred to have an extra brand new person instead of an old one returning. Plus, sometimes it ruins it for me (Gray from MFoMT was my favorite bachelor, and when they brought him back in DS: Cute I was excited...until I met him. He was waaay less interesting than he was in MFoMT. Same with Karen; I loved her spunky attitude in MFoMT, but in DS: Cute she was really bland, not at all the same). Cameos can be fun, but I generally prefer a whole new cast of characters; that way, no one is disappointed, as well. Like when Dirk came back in ToTT, I know a lot of people were very happy, but he was my least favorite bachelor from GrB and I would have been happy to see anyone else, but even happier to see a new bachelor all together. Same with Alisa coming back; I'm really sick of her, but there are other bachelorettes from the IoH generation I would have been happy to see. Rather than only making some people happy some of the time, I feel like all new people is a better idea.

^I agree. Characters making cameos are sometimes not a good idea. Alisa though, that was a good idea. Considering in IoH many people (including me) wanted to marry Alisa. When SI came around, Alisa was given "heart" events, but she turned down the proposal. ToTT, she showed up again and we all thought she would be a tease like Marvelous made her in SI. However, she wasn't and we could FINALLY marry her.

Some cameos work, others just don't.

Ah, right, that is a good point about Alisa. I always play female, so from my perspective I just got tired of befriending her in all three games; I forgot that she could only be actually married once. In that case, then, good on them for rectifying their past mistakes!

And I agree. When the cameos DO work, though, I admit that I've enjoyed them as much as anyone else. I just tend to get very let down by the not quite as good ones.

Well, personally I would love to see Alice, Charles, and Renton come back. (Alice being a bachellorette and Charles being a bachelor.) And I think the reason they've brought the W.P back so many times is because there are an awful lot of ways to portray her. In DS and DS Cute, she was the bad girl. In IoH, she was portrayed as a little younger-ish, with teddy bears as company.In SI, she had a niece. In AP, her character design was changed, along with an added rivalry with the Wizard. So, this time, I hope they come up with a new idea! But, yeah, a lot of cameos failed. I still love Dirk, but in TToTT, they kinda watered down his personality(much like Karen and Gray.) I do like them though.

Gray, but not the "I'm on Prozac" Gray from DS/C. The one from Mineral Town.

And more villagers, I want this to be a town, not just full of bachelors/rettes with questionable origin.
