Simple explanation: if you can marry them, it's LP, if you can only befriend them, it's FP.
Though many of Frey's friends are totally crushing on her. She's joined the ranks of hot RF mom now.
Speaking of hot, if/when I go through with my Frey cosplay I'm planning on making the boob armor as REAL armor, using hardened leather. Seems like it would be fun to attempt.

How is the 3rd plot activated?
I heard there's some special event...

The third plot seems to be activated totally at random but I think you need at least 7 FP with Kohaku and Dylas (and probably Dolce and Leon too) to get a chance activating it.
So it could take a really really long time to get it if you aren't lucky.

Like all sub-events, "Memories", the gateway sub event to part 3, is random. And if I recall correctly, I had Leon at 4FP that time so I *think* you don't need the four ex-bosses to be 7FP+. Good news is, there's an exploit that you can use to "force" or check if a sub event triggered.
If any villager is a core actor in a triggered sub event, they will 1) refuse to accompany you when you invite them and 2) leave your company the next day if you took them back home and slept. With these, one can deduce that simply turning a core actor/s into a follower and repeatedly sleeping will turn them into a sort of sub-event alarm! This exploit works for all sub events.
The sub-event alarms for "Memories" are Dylas and Kohaku. Therefore as Fin said above, having Dylas and/or Kohaku at 7FP+ at this point WILL help a LOT. (They will "sleep with you" at 7FP) If only one of them asked to leave your service, then it's a different sub event. If BOTH of them asked to leave your service, then you hit jackpot.

How long are the parts of the story in relation to one another? Is the third plot as long as the first two, or is it like just a little after-thing?

Do we ever get to find out Frey/Lests history? The intro shot seems pretty open ended...

Is it a 'good' glitch? Or is that just a little booster thingy? And thanks

It's just exploiting an intended feature. Not a bug nor a glitch. For a list of game bugs, see the wiki article.

Dylas uses gloves/claws and one of his fighting abilities is a double roundhouse kick...

So.....I got the bug under the "serious" column where you can't date people or ask new people out. They never show up in the plaza..and if they do, they keep saying "Meet me at 10 at the plaza" even if it's after 10. Sigh ; ; Now I have to use my waaaaay old file, which means I have to build up a bunch of hearts again and ask people out. Grrrr.

Don't despair. I got that too (anyone is bound to get it) and I fixed it. I tested if I could ask someone out during the special 19:00 festivals and I was able to (I used the firefly one). After that I saved, exited the game completely, and restarted. Bug fixed!
Not sure if the hard resetting or the special festival fixed it but you should give both a try. I got cold sweat here too.
