No, it will only be on the 3DS. I know how you feel... I really want to play Animal Parade, but I feel like it's too late to buy a wii. Maybe when they get really cheap and outdated, then I will get one and the game.
There are a lot of good games on the 3DS though. If you have a DS, I don't see why you wouldn't buy a 3DS, even if it's a purchase in the distant future when there are more games and the console is cheaper. What's keeping you back?

the thing is 3ds is only compatible with 3ds's and my whoel fam has ds's and dsis and xls and all tht....

That's why I only buy one type of DS each generation :/ It's no use buying a DS that your DS can already play. Maybe you'll be able to get it someday.

I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but... the 3DS is backwards compatible... you can play DS games on it.

^ Yeah, and I'm pretty sure the Wii U is backward compatible and will play Wii games. So, there wouldn't be a reason to buy a Wii after it becomes "outdated" since Nintendo will eventually stop making Wii games.

^ For some reason I think there is a ton of misinformation being spread (or just really false presumptions w/o research) about the 3DS and its capabilities. I'm shocked at how many people still don't realize it's a new console and not an upgrade.
It's like asking
why Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen
couldn't be released on Gameboy instead of GBA,
with all the new features and graphics.

Yes, it will be. It just wont play GC games. Just like most new Wiis you see today.
