Then you will absolutely detest this game. On the brightside, there is quite a lot of ground to cover when foraging so you can have full days (~5pm finish) provided you look after animals in the morning, water twice, gift your love interest and forage. I absolutely detest slow moving HM games.
Note: This doesn't apply to animal land which was clearly something the designers didn't playtest (it is shockingly slow and boring) and early on the game has VERY few options which ties into the whole "building the town" theme that they are going for. Such a shame that it starts so slowly though.
