I know for you to get married you have to go through a dating stage and everything. But I'v been poking around these forums and I'm wondering if the dating feature (like going to locations) from ToTT made a comeback?

I don't think so. Dating in TOTT was more like just people going to some place as friends, and this game seems to make dating = boyfriend-girlfriend.

I dunno very much about the game, though, so I could be wrong.

There are some festivals where you can go with your boyfriend or girlfriend

There are event type things where they cook dinner for you on your b'day, etc. Not sure if that counts as to what you were looking for.
