Sorry, I was thinking about Island of Happiness. I never played Sunshine Islands, but if it shares too much in common with Island of Happiness, it is really a game I'm not interested in to be honest.

I give it a 6/10
I liked it. (mostly when the red sprite told me what to do)
However I like GB, AP, AWL, ToTT much better. I do say I like it the days seem to go faster in SI. Hate the wonderful upgrade system. Like having a lil' piggy.

I have had this game for a couple months and I just finished my first year in game. I love this game. I think it is by far and away my favorite HM game and I own 10 of them. I love how challenging it is.

So far, I'd give it about a 6/10, but I've not really been playing it very long. I'm only in summer of my first year so I'm not that far yet. I did manage to raise Volcano Island though. I want to get more sun stones fast so I can get Mushroom Island and Shea... :\

It is not my least favorite HM game and there are lots of features I like. But still there are problems that really bother me. I am really bad at rating things though so I'm not gonna give a specific number.

The character set is really fun, some of the islands are interesting, I like the mining feature, I enjoy having people move in, and the wedding clothes are pretty. But collecting those Sunstones is not that fun and I hate the Farm Degree system.

The only good addition is the Harvest Sprite feature. They do chores for two weeks straight.

Otherwise, this game is redundant garbage. IOH roughly has the same flaws and qualities.

What wrong with that both games
although they are not my favorite list but it still fun to play more than GB My opinion OK!

yeah holding down the b button was pretty tiring but you don't have to hold the arrow and b at the same time to make them run, you can just hold down b and the character will run.
i think the game gets better once your raise more islands and more characters come aboard.

At first it's a bit boring, yes, but that's only because you don't have any big amount of crops to tend to, or people to raise LP with, because of the gift rule. As someone said earlier, it gets better when the plot begins to unravel and when you can raise islands. And when you get used to the controls, especially running holding the b button.
