Are you going to Pre-Order ANB?

I'm preordering it just because it's Harvest Moon. I don't mind the plushies, but i kinda don't want anymore animal related plushies. Maybe if there were plushies of the Main character; i'll probly get it by then nwn;

How does pre-ordering work, anyways?

I only know gamestop.
You go into the store and ask someone behind the desk for the preorder sheets. Tell them you want to see the 3ds games if you want to get that page faster instead of looking through the binder to find it.
Just tell them you want to put HM: ANB on reserve, they'll ask you for your name, number, e-mail(maybe), etc, you put 5 dollars down on the game and that's pretty much it.
Once it comes out you have 48 hours to go pick it up along with your doll. be sure to bring the receipt in case something(like your phone) changes or if it's a person who wasn't behind the counter when you went to preorder it.
Well bring it anyways, cause they probably would still want proof, it's what they make us do here at least.
So long as you have that 5 dollars down on that game they have to hold one there for you until you pick it up. No one else can buy it because it will be under their counter where no one can see it.
So yea just ask them for it once the day comes. . .

October is a good time for games, it seems. If the October date is legit, I'll have ANB and Pokemon BW2 (both). Which is freakin' awesome. Now I just need to put some money into savings for when I have to pay the remaining amount on these three games,,,

Expanding on the pre-order instructions from Ducki, you may not need the receipt if you have their Power Up card or whatever it's called. Because I believe that after you have one, all your purchases and so forth are tied to your 'account.' So personally, I'm hoping that's the case but I totally lost the receipt...

Either way I would be buying the game because I love Harvest Moon but the fact that the preorder comes with a plushie is a must! If Gamestop for whatever reason doesn't give me my plushie you will hear about a nuclear explosion.

You only need the receipt for bigger purchases, like when I got my halo xbox ($400 >_>; ) But for pre ordered games you should be ok. Also if you have a power up rewards card, you're definitely covered, so no worries. I also think October would be a good time for games. We'll just have to wait and see

I've already got it pre-ordered mainly because I want to make sure I get it. The last time I forgot to pre-order a game I wanted it literally took me 4 months to find it for sale.

I pre-ordered Harvest Moon: A New Beginning (along with Pokemon White 2) before the yak plushie was even announced! I've seen the hype and reviews about HM:ANB, and I wanted it, too. I am sorta glad I pre-ordered at Gamestop instead of Amazon, though. The plushie looks cute.

I was pre-ordering AC since last year, and since it's pretty much the same price, I told my dad to cancel that (since it's not coming out for at least 1 year) and pre-order ANB instead. Of course, my dad wants to get it from Amazon, but he said I can get it from Gamestop if Amazon won't provide a yak. So, I'm mostly getting it for the game, but also the plushie.
