Are you going to Pre-Order ANB?

Pre-ordering because I'm hyped for the game AND the plushie. Then again, I love collecting the plushies...
I'm excited. But thankfully, I have P4A to keep my occupied until then.

oh i used to collect them, then my room got over-run so i dont anymore. i'm also using P4A to keep me busy until it comes out xD especially with score aattack mode Dx and if P4Golden somehow comes out before ANB i will use my money to buy a Vita and the game and end up not being able to get ANB for awhile

I'm going to preorder or order it once they "reveal" the way you can do so without going through GameStop. (Which I am guessing is going to be through Natsume's Online Store). No offense but GameStop emploeyees have given away my plushies to other people in the past (such as I preorder on the first day it is available to do so, but they give the plushies away as soon as they get them, without saving plushies for people who already preordered), plus I do not like their "pawn shop" business model.

I always get Harvest Moon games, I usually preorder to a) ensure I get a copy, because sometimes they don't really print or distribute or even order a lot. I consider HM games pretty niche and harder to find AND b) so that I do get a plushie.

I still don't even have a 3DS... still waiting for this game to buy one. I am undecided too about getting a purple 3DS or getting the XL version. I will probably get the XL version since my eyesight isn't that great.

I think that is actually illegal (not sure if it's a state or federal law) and can get that game stop a fine if proven.
Edit: I actually already preordered it the day I got kingdom hearts 3d mark of mastery addition.

Agreed, that is correct. Report the GameStop to their headquarters that's what I did and I got one shipped to me. Even once they gave me a damaged plushie GameStop shipped out another one to me. The headquarters can get those people fired.

Okay, so this is why I'm confused about pre-ordering! I'm in Canada as well and didn't see anything mentioned on Gamestops website, so I was like huh? I'm not just crazy then, awesome. I'll just go in store to pre-order anyways.

I actually sent an e-mail to GameStop Canada (EB Games), and they gave me the most unhelpful response ever:

Recently, I heard about the latest game from the Harvest Moon series (A New
Beginning) becoming available for pre-order through your company. Upon
searching your website, I found that I could not find the title in question
posted anywhere, especially not available for pre-order. Regarding this, I
was wondering if in order to pre-order this title, I would need to do so

Natsume posted something on their facebook wall about not being able to pre-order the game from gamestop in Canada!
They said they would "follow up" on it.

At least they seem to be working on the issue.

Although the plushie is part of the reason I'm preordering, the main reason is so that way I'll have a reason to go to game stop and I can maybe buy Tales of The Abyss 3D...

@humming: I believe they're mad at that backwards answer, not the fact that it's unavailable.

I love how in the email you basically say, "it's not available online, why is that?", and their response is "it's not available online." Helpful! I imagine they don't really know anyways, but this just struck me funny.

And that is good news! I can't imagine that they wouldn't work it out before the release, so I'm not worried. But hopefully they do soon, I've never pre-ordered any of my games before and I'm excited to this time. (:

Haha turns out I actually just pre-ordered ANB today :3
I went to pre-order Persona 4 Golden Limited Edition then I thought about ANB and said "why not?"
So I got 2 awesome games pre-ordered just for me~!
I can't wait <3
