Hmm... That brings up a question... What DOES happen if your wedding falls on the same day as a festival or birthday or whatever? =/ Makes me curious...

And, if you try to propose on a weekday, what on earth does the potential spouse say!? :?
"Oh, you can't propose on a weekday, silly, come back on the weekend then I'll say yes!"

LOLwut? I don't know if you can propose on weekday, considering it's normal to do that IRL? I don't know what you are talking about xD

Well, In the past Harvest Moon games they usually move it the next day.
I think it's okay to propose on a weekday :o unless it's a festival or something.

We still have to wait for the game to come out ^^

They say something along the lines of "Don't you think it's a little early for us to be taking that step?"

If the wedding's gonna fall on a birthday or holiday it just gets pushed back to the next free day.

Ah, I see. That's what I thought happened in past HMs, but the previous poster made it sound different for some reason. =O Thought I was going to have to do a lot of planning... Would be difficult, given the amount of festivals in this game.

Thank you! =D

For the birthday it doesn't. I had to redo a whole save as I was first proposed to on the 28th of Autumn and my birthday and Irona's were on the 5th of Winter when the wedding was. I let the wedding advance as I was curious and the wedding happened; I didn't get any birthday presents at all or a chance to give one to Irona.

That's why I was saying for people to be careful with the proposal. I had to reload and say no and replay that whole week again. :(

I'm not sure what would happen if you kept playing with your wedding anniversary the same as your birthday. It may just be one celebration with your partner.

I find that amusing. "It is 3 days too early for us to think about marriage! Come back later when i love you more."

Also, for rings I am not 100% sure but I think some characters (Iroha possibly, considering that is who I am dating) comment that the ring is very pretty. So its not exactly a rejection but they won't accept it for a little while. this could have happened because I was at the wrong heart level too. I really don't understand harvest moon games even when they are in English, let along a foreign language.

I'm not sure I've ever been "married" on a sunday... in all my HM years... Hmmmm, never been married in ToTT... didn't do that in GrB...

Anyway... Has anyone tried out using the Blue Feather on the other characters? To find out there reaction? I always find some are really funny!

Ah, so birthday's mess things up... That's going to be really annoying! =O There are lots of birthdays to worry about...
...That was a pretty big thing for Marvelous to miss. =/

@Blxz I'm thinking Iroha was probably at a low heart level or you didn't complete some sort of requirement. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense... That reminds me, in this game, do you have to see every single heart event before getting married? I always make sure to see the events, because I look forward to them, but I'm still curious.

I would like to hear some of those reactions, because I don't like waving the blue feather around myself. By the time I get someone ready for marriage, I'm usually so impatient that I want to get it done right away. XD

It's a little late for this but, I only thought of this this morning, but here it is, in a quote box:
Removing the Blue Feather from Harvest Moon would be like removing Bells from Animal Crossing!
