The only DLC I'd want is unique children depending on who you married. >> Animal Parade spoiled me greatly, but seriously, there's no excuse for how lazily the children were done. They could have at least included dark-skinned children for dark-skinned PCs and Amir/Sanjay.

Wait, you hope the connection system doesn't exist?
I don't think s/he meant that. S/he likely meant that they hope there is no dlc and if there was I would be mad.
Yeah, that's what I meant. I don't like it when they don't release a full product, and keep making me spend more money to complete the game I already bought. That has never been an issue with any Nintendo game, but it really pissed me off when I bought my PS3.
I wish there was like for more clothing, hair, face, maybe more children (for those that want it)or more animals that would would be great. DCL is not alway a bad thing. maybe because I don't mind paying for more stuff.. ._.); I do it with online sites anyways! XD*coughtiniermecough*
So let's say that it was just 5 outfits not much but in Little big planet that cost ten American dollars and that is quite of money for a jobless teen like me and individually they cost about two-fifty.What if some of the buildings are dlc?Are you sure you want to spend extra cash on a forty buck game?
I don't mind. I spend more money on online clothing for my avatars. It's a not a big deal ,anyways no ones forceing you to buy them... but it would be nice for those that can buy them ,like me. c: when i mean DCL not is that bad, I mean it could be free too. so don't look it the side of it. plus this game already has alot to offer ,but would be nice to have extras. c:

While I agree with you, I also have to disagree as well. Do you know how much space a 3DS cartridge has in it, memory~wise? Or how much memory a villager takes up? If you don't, then you shouldn't complain? Besides, it's not as if the children look bad. And they grow up to be teenagers, and they can even be adults too! It takes a lot of memory for the kids because they have to grow up, from baby to toddler to kid to teen to adult, AND THERE ARE TWO OF THEM! (that wasn't yelling I put that in caps for emphasis) so there wouldn't be enough room to make another set of darker skin children, or ones with different hair to match your spouse... But thy are pretty great as they are! But it will be creepy for me to marry Sanjay, and have a completely white baby, so I feel your frustration, it's just there are reasons why they children look that way.

Its not the memory/space in the cartridge that is the issue. Rather it is the work-to-benefit ratio of designing a whole new character/s. Then there is implementation, graphical art (in 3d remember), dialogue, bug testing and the coding to actually match up the correct children to the correct spouse.
I'll admit, they could have just done a colour reskin and given random hairstyles/colours and eye colours but it all comes back to the cost-to-benefit. Is it worth their time to do all this? Will it sell enough extra copies that they can pay the multiple staff members who made it? Will people appreciate the game significantly more?
The answers to those last 2 questions are probably 'no'. What they have done though is give 2 children who each have the ability to grow up to teenagers. Thats a pretty big step and I'm happy with it. Happy enough to buy another copy of the game (and a 3ds beacuse of region lock) in english when it finally comes out in Australia.
(man, all my posts turn into these huge rants. i tried to be concise this time but it's just not happening

)

alright, I was wrong, but still, it won't happen, but ANB will still be great regardless! Blxz is right, it is a huge step that the kids will become teens, and then adults when you give them that item, royal jelly, i think.

Could you talk more about the kids becoming adults? It's not making sense to me so far.

When you give the kids a specific item, the Royal Jelly, i think... Anyway, when they are teens, you can give them the item, and then they will grow up into an adult for a season. (I'm not totally sure about this, because it has been a while since it was talked about, but WHEN IT WAS TALKED ABOUT, this what I just said, is what i was led to believe about them becoming adults)

Ok then, so it's not you that didn't make sense. It's the feature itself that doesn't make sense. If I'm not sick of the game already then, I'll stop playing when my kid becomes an adult.

I wouldn't mind DLC, then again I do have a job, and paying extra to prolong a game or get extras in a game has never been a big deal to me. As of right now I know I've spent at least 30 dollars on extra dlc for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, but I'm a big enough fan to WANT to spend a 1.05 on each extra song.
With that being said, I guess I wouldn't mind spending a few extra dollars on additional clothing or what have you for Harvest Moon if they did decide to do it.
But, Nintendo isn't a big DLC company, so few games have it, as you can see why whoever posted about being pissed off about it with their PS3.
To me, it's if you really enjoy something and want to draw it out, then go for it, but if you're happy how the story is and don't care to drag it out, then don't worry so much about it.
Also, since TTOTT had the gift sharing via street pass, I'm almost certain they would add the connect feature to the US version, it wouldn't make sense for them not to.

I don't know what's worse Mass Effect 3 or The Sims 3? Ever since EA took over EVERYTHING, Maxis and Bioware....

Sad but true. EA ruined Bioware.

I hope not, dlc are pains, they take a long time to load, half the time the amount you can pay for the content isn't worth it (unless they do it for free, then I have no quarrels).
Anyway I don't think (hope) Natsume will plan on create dlc's for their games as they don't exactly seem like the kind of company to do so. Younger audiences also play the games so generally most of the dlc involved games I have seen are for much older audiences.

I feel uncomfortable spending money on games. The only time I get games is when (25% honor roll/principal's award, 35% when i save the money[which is rare because my family steals from me], and 50% is the money I get from the government each month for my health.)
That's it.
