does anybody else wish that you can buy some items in this game with play coins because I know already that they don't use play coins such as some plants or animals

I would happily trade them for foragables. I need small stones. I also happen to have 300 play coins just sitting on my DS with no use. (300 is the max I think). What are they even useful for?

play coins can be used to buy some of those games on the ar cards, puzzle swam, find mii, or in some games.

You can also use play coins in Swapnote to download pictures [sent to you] and add a sound [file].

I only have 13 play coins though :'D. I believe I got them on a car ride. I wasn't even walking xD

My favorite thing to use the coins for is collecting pieces for the 3D puzzle. But I agree. There should be more that we can do with them.

You can only get 10 per day I believe. So must have been at least 2 separate occasions. I got all mine on a massive hike. It was kinda disheartening to have walked 40km's in one day and sit down to find out I only earned 10 coins. =(

Same well I didn't hike 40km but I did a lot of walking but only 10 coins, not cool. When I feel lazy and I have time I just shake the 3DS like a lazy bum to get coins.

I have all the puzzle pieces and now I have them I wish I'd waited as it's more fun collecting them from other people's mii. I play the adventure game and get all sorts of hats for my mii character. I usually have kitty ears but I recently got the Luigi hat so keeping that one.

My play coins have been stuck at 300 for 3 months now.

My friend and I street pass a lot and her Mii keeps losing to a ghost with a shield xP

I don't recall there being a ten coin limit per day. It must be different on American DS because I've gotten more than that in a day on my Japanese DS.

Also, on the Japanese DS they release new puzzles once in awhile.

How many puzzles are on the North American one? I'm not sure.

Nope, i have a japanese DS and did my walking in japan. unless there are different versions or different ways to earn coins (like hotspots or something?) then you are limited to 10 per day from walking.

I always shook it to get coins. I just keep shaking it until I have a few coins.

I always shake for play coins. I use them for Find Mii.
