Removing part of their vocabular would be like removing part of their personalities in-game, I think.. I hope it doesn't happen, and I don't see why it should (which is not to say I don't think it won't. I fear it will). In Japan the kids play it, so why shouldn't they elsewhere?
It's not like some bad language in a game as peaceful as Harvest Moon tends to be will ruin their character. More than life and TV already do, anyway.
