Natsume definitely knows more. Gamestop's clueless. I used to see "street dated" games that were pushed back when I worked there. Yes, tt's not often, but it does happen often enough to note.
When Natsume says "their date is wrong." and isn't teasing or coy about it, I'm just that much more inclined to believe it's a bad date. If it was accurate, they'd be dancing around it.
I admit that the date could be wrong, in all likely hood it is. But something just feels off about. Why would it be street dated? I have never seen any other Harvest Moon game get a street date, and yet this one just randomly gets one? I am more then likely looking at this to hard and adding meaning to something meaningless.
As for Natsume and dates, I learned a long time ago not to trust them at all XD

not to totally be like AMG GAMESTOP FANGIRL here, but I work there now, and they usually don't push back SD's anymore. I've only known of one during the last year and a half I've been there, and it was Bioshock Infinite. I'm not saying that the date GS has is the actual date because Natsume is so adamant it's not, but I've seen SD's on games that WERE official before they were officially announced by the company. I wouldn't be surprised if it stays Oct. 23rd. I mean it would be funny if they were like OH IT'S OCTOBER 23RD SURPRISEEE. But, I also wouldn't be surprised if they did change it. If you can recall they usually just do random dates next to titles, a very common one is 1/2/*insert year* as a normal "place holder". Not everything has a SD next to it.

I have seen others street dated, and that was the tale of two towns ONLY FOR THE DS SKU though. It was NEVER officially street dated for 3DS, it had a date next to it, but no SD next to it, which isn't uncommon, especially for Nintendo. It recently happened to The Last Story. It just decided to come out.

anyone got an official release date for hmanb? cuz my local gamestop says 10/23
Natsume Inc.
Anne: We've said over and over that date is not correct. Unless it comes from us, it's just a guess. ANB is due out in 2012.

Natsume, you should ask GameStop to remove the "SD" abbreviation they have next to it, indicating a street date. That's what's confusing GameStop employees, and thus, your fans

Personally I feel bad for Natsume. You know come Oct 23rd (even if they announce a date) people are going to go nuts on them. I wouldn't want CeeCee's job that day....

Agreed.
I know GS is famous for mess-ups. Nintendo hated them for the longest time because they announced the black wii before they did.

I really don't mind about seeing some spoilers about ANB, because I know I won't get a 3DS too soon and I want to know the new features in this game. I'm notthat kind of person that doesn't like spoilers and stuff, I really enjoy them.
I'm excited for the release and hope it doesn't take so long, there are already some screenshots that shows the game in a english version.

You work there? Can you get me a discount? \no
lmfao. I could. the game runs 42.39 after tax here in Michigan, with the five down it usually comes out to around 34 dollars. So, I get a nice little chunk. Nothing spectacular, but hey, saving money is what it's all about these days.
Eeeeeeeeek! I had no idea it was supposed to be released THIS year! I need to come here more often. I'm one of those people who learn about a video game that hasn't been released yet and forgets because the release date is so far away. It feels awful when I miss release dates!
You people aren't alone.I check back here everyday mhm. c:
Spoilers? Heck,I love them.Yup yup,I always click on the spoilers I see. BRING THEM ON
/I'm just that kind of person x3
