I know I have read this somewhere and I hate myself for forgetting it but I have failed searching for it.

How does one propose in this game? I know it has to be the weekend and they must be at red heart and I need to use a blue feather. What else is required to make her accept?

I have iroha on a red heart from the christmas day festival, its now the weekend and I tried on both Saturday and now sunday. As far as I am aware i have complete all heart events (the ones on chers online guide currently). She says something and I can read the kanji for too 'early/fast' so something must be wrong with my timing.

Things I can think of, the red heart isn't enough; even though it just turned red it needs to be maxed out.
Or, I was proposing in the wilderness and it must be in her house.
Or, the weather wasn't very good.

Anyone able to help me?

Any requirements for the blueprints to show up and/or materials needed to make it?

EDIT: Checked rebecca's shop and there is nothing specific I can see that is just a bed. Only what I think is whole room decorations.

So, no one knows how to get the double bed unlocked?

If I'm not wrong, you just need to upgrade your house, and Rebecca will sell it.

Ok, so how do I upgrade my house?

Lets assume I can't read any japanese and have no idea what I am doing. I'm pretty lost by this point.

The house upgrade is 立派な自宅. You need to start Town Renovation Plan #3 to unlock it.

The double bed is ダブルベッド, and I believe it appears after you have completed the house upgrade.

Much appreciated. Town renovation level 3 is what I am missing. Still waiting for a spring herb to make one of the bushes I need for something.

Yup, that's why you need to horde and forage as much as possible. I recommend getting the maker shed built as soon as possible too so you can start growing all the herbs you'll need and getting your crops up in star level.

Yeah, the hording part is getting old. I now don't sell anything except milk from 3 cows and eggs from 5 chickens. I have stockpiles of stuff in the hope it 'might' be useful one day. I still make about 12grand a day but with nothing to spend my money on...this game just feels slightly unfinished.
