I had the yellow heart moment with Vaughn on a Wednesday. He doesn't show up on my map and yet he took me out. I had to turn my game off so it didn't save, but has this glitch happened to anyone else, and does it affect anything? It's really weird.

That is normal. Vaughn's Yellow Heart Events can happen on days he doesn't usually come to the island. I guess he just likes your character so much he decides to stop by just for her.
