Honestly, of all the bachelorettes' special messages, Jones/Nancy/Pico's dialogue to Dolce in the wedding is my favorite.
And Zhang, a 22 hour train ride? In a seater? I've been to Rome in the past via a 6 hour train ride and that alone already bored me out of my skull.

I never did read Nancy's lines enough to know why she and Jones never had their own kid. Is she.. infertile? Is HE infertile? Both infertile? Both celibate!?!?! (LMFAO) Though I guess their situation is just one of those "can't get pregnant no matter how hard they try" jokes.
Anyway that particular 22 hour superlong seater ride was headed towards Xi'an and its Terra Cotta army, so that helped keep me sane.. Sleeper tickets were sold out and I didn't want to keep my girlfriend (who arrived from a different city) waiting for more than a day, so.. yeah. That was a poor decision on my part though, thinking I could just sleep the ride through. I should have taken a plane which was maybe only ~60 USD more expensive.
Also super bonus for Kirie who loves pandas: (took it earlier~~)

Awwwwwww, that panda looks cute.
And Zhang, I think it's because Jones and Nancy are relatively "young" compared to the other RF parents. They're older than the marriage candidates but I always imagine Rinfa and Yanfan being older. Idk...Jones looks younger compared to the other RF dads we've had like Egan, Byron, Blaise and Turner. If anything, Jones and Leon look like they're around the same age.
They'll probably decide on a kid eventually but Nancy initially saw Dolce as someone who was in need after Lest brought her into Selfia...then as time went on, she and Jones grew to love her like a daughter.
Yeah, that marriage ceremony message is the sweetest thing ever. After that line you translated, it pretty much goes as follows before Pico's marriage ceremony dialogue (which is pretty long)...
Dolce: Nancy-san...
Nancy: Uu.....(still tearing up)
Dolce: Up until now, you've done everything for me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. You were the one who watched over me all this time, mom...
Nancy: Ruuuuu-chaaaaaaan...

The one thing that really scares me with improted games is warped dialogue from the company who translated it. Sometimes they really fudge up games with ad-libbed lines and such....
For anyone who has played both the Japanese version and English version of any Rune Factory game, do they usually stay true to the dialogue?

Meg has yet to mention Daria. She probably may in post-marriage dialogue, considering Daria only brought Meg up while married to Micah. Though I can tell you this, so much hints surrounding them being related are in the game to the point it's completely obvious.
-both of them have a catchphrase during battle and in some dialogue. Daria's is "Rainbow" and Meg's is "Bravo". Though in terms of comparing the JP voiced lines, I'm finding myself liking "Bravo" better
-You may recall that Daria despises shrimp due to her finding it creepy. Meg on the other hand, LOVES it. She even calls the shrimp cute upon giving it to her. She hates squid, however.
-One of Meg's post marriage gifts is Miso Eggplant, Daria's favorite and one of her post marriage lunches.

Urgh, yeah 22 hours in a seater sounds like torture enough. When I take the train up to Seattle it's normally like... 8 hours (broke down one time and made it 14 hours) and that's bad enough. How was the Terra Cotta army?
On topic - Zhang, you said you were going to be playing a Frey file next and wooing Leon? Are you planning on wooing any of the other bachelors alongside him? I really, really want some more info on Arthur's reverse proposal event (I have all the pictures of the text, but it's like.. 1303 of them x_x) but it takes so long for me to translate. If you aren't going to check out the other reverse proposals this time around, can I send a few hard to translate images to you through PM at least? I'd really appreciate the help!

Change in terms of character development you mean? It'd take me a while to type actually, haha...I have a good idea on Xiao and Chrolica's development, I fully understand the development Forte and Meg went through but I still have to double check on Kohaku to make sure I understood her sub event fully. And correction, it's more like Dolce, Meg and Forte are tied for first place on my rankings.
If you're curious about Meg though... ((MAJOR CHARACTER SPOILERS BELOW))

Meg left the Elf Kingdom in order to see the world but she was sure that she would spend the rest of her life alone. Putting aside some of the social taboos among certain groups about elves and humans mating, Meg's development is a matter of fear. She's very well aware that elves have longer lifespans than humans and often, they end up outliving their friends. Meg herself has experienced this in the past. She had a human music teacher she was relatively close to that she ended up outliving.
When you confess to Meg at 7 LP, she'll constantly ask Lest, "Are you sure? But I'm an Elf. Is this what you really want?" And in Porcoline's first sub event that focused on his ties to the elf kingdom, Lest stumbles upon Meg crying but the event ends there after she tries shrugging it off. It could have been involving that loss.
Later into her main romance sub event, she begins to doubt her relationship with not just Lest but with everyone in town. She's afraid of outliving most of the people she love and she at one point lashed out at Porcoline because of that fear. When the Siren in her main sub event (this one is particularly against humans and elves getting together) robs her voice away, Lest takes Meg around down to look for answers on how to get her voice back.
While doing so, the townsfolk all encourage Meg, telling her to fight on. After Kiel gives them answer, Meg decides from then on that she'll face her own feelings and that she'll stop running away (she declares this in her sub event anime cutscene).
In her proposal dialogue, she admits to Lest that a part of her is still afraid of what's to happen once those she loves dissapears. However, she's also decided that she's learned what it truly means to be afraid of losing the people you love and that fear can also mean that she cant run away anymore and instead, she may as well keep those she loves dearly close to her while they're still alive.
So the themes centering on Meg's character development are basically the sadness that comes with long life but mostly involving the courage that is needed to confront such emotions and turn that fear into an emotion which keeps her cherishing her loved ones during the time they still have together.
